PHOTOS: Rex Burkhead’s Family Celebrates Birth Of Second Son

New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead’s family got a bit bigger this week.
On Instagram Wednesday, Burkhead and his wife Danielle shared pictures of their newborn baby boy, Steel James Burkhead over their Instagram accounts.

Their son marks their second child together during Rex’s time as a New England Patriot.
In 2018, Rex made news when he was late to a practice due to his wife giving birth to their first son, Jett in November, a very valid excuse.
A few teammates later wrote congratulatory messages in the Instagram comments.
Burkhead is presently in the final year of a three-year contract extension he signed with the Patriots in March 2018. He saw action in 13 regular season games last year, rushing for 3012 yards and three touchdowns.
As a receiver, Burkhead chipped in 27 receptions for 279 yards.
