I think he meant him getting suspended. He averaged 6.5 more ypc than DT did last season and only averaged half a catch per game less (3.4 vs 3.9). So who is the one who disappears?

Combine stats are great and all but one is a highly productive NFL receiver who has done it on 3 different teams while the other was a first round reach who is a solid role player but in all likelihood will never approach half the production Cooks has had.
OK, presuming that Gordon is still suspended, we will have to cut three out of
Harris, Meyers, Dorsett, Inman and Berrios.
First, the top 3 WR's get over 90% of the reps. The #4 and #5 WR's get almost no reps over the course of the season. Barring injuries, I would expect the same with Edelman, Thomas and Harry.
So, yes. Most here will likely see one of their favs cut. Some of us will guess which TWO to save, be the backup in case of injury, and perhaps have a serious role in a game or two depending on matchups.
Personally, I would keep Harris and Dorsett. However, I could see Belichick using the 5th WR spot for Myers, who he would hope to develop over the course of the next year, likely without being active.
Yeesh. FYI That’s their CB1 & All Pro FS.
vigorous sprinting in a straight line is a LONG way from making ankle breaking cuts that a WR is required to make. If we see him in October I'll be surprisedYeah, and since late December I've suited up in football pads just as many times as Demarius has.
Sorry, he is a good project for later in the season. Counting on him as #2 WR at this point is fairly ridiculous. Let alone the Achilles and his age, he has never gotten a rep with Tom Brady to this point.
I'm rooting for him. The Patriots could always use his skill set. But let's keep it in perspective.
.
Because this poster is the absolute opposite of what Dorsett is and stands for.Dorsett is a great human being, teammate,
Why the hate?
It would be great if new rules could be made up for PUP. But they cant be.Harry is a lock (will he start on PUP, perhaps? Hamstring injuries can linger.)
I don't think he has the short area quickness to make people miss as a PR. Edelman makes at least one person miss on about 90% of his returns, even those he makes minimal yardage on. Dorset doesn't seem to have the ability to do that.I don't remember whether it was PR or KR, but there was a report of him working as one of them earlier in camp.
Your heart is ready to receive the truth of Inman.
Actually I get the feeling that Edelman is ready now. It's been 6 weeks since he reportedly broke the thumb. It SHOULD be ready. I think that the real reason he's not playing now is that they really don't need him. He already has great chemistry with Brady, so why no let everyone else get those reps for the next week or so. Actually I expect him back next Monday. You are basically saying that we should ignore all acquisitions until they play games. Belichick knows the situations. We only speculate. Edelman is not on the field. Should we expect anything from Edelman.
For me, I expect Thomas to be a contributor. Yes, I think he can be counted on to be a minor contributor. If fully healthy, he would be a key part of our offense.
YES I THINK THE WHOLE WORLD UNDERSTANDS THAT. What he said was "when healthy DT is a better option than Gordon. It is reasonable to assume that he meant if they were both on the active roster. If there is one roster spot and both players were available I would take Gordon 10 times out of 10. I don't know why we would be debating this if the statement was "who is more valuable to the team right this moment?" because neither of them are. One may not play this year due to suspension and the other cant play right now because he is injured.Do you truly not understand the Gordon could disappear at any time because of OFF THE FIELD ISSUES?
If that is what Andy meant then I completely agree he is a better option. I assumed he was saying DT is a better player than Gordon. I don't trust Gordon to play until I see him in uniform on the field.Gordon, he disappeared last December right before the playoffs.
No, The Truth of Inman is a registered religion so you're okay.I'm sorry. It's probably a bit late to ask this: but will this cost me my visa?

Help me out. Give me a reason I should have faith in his recovery. For me, I expect Thomas to be a contributor. Yes, I think he can be counted on to be a minor contributor. If fully healthy, he would be a key part of our offense.

Lol What? Thomas is done. Hi stats have been steadily declining over the last few years, he is 31 and he is coming off a major injury. While Gordon was definitely not 2013 Gordon last year, he was solid down the stretch. On top of that he already has a year in the offense and worked with Brady. I don't even think the two are close.
