Bring in another tall receiver and hope he beats out a shorter one.

Why not ......

The kind of no risk camp flier BB takes a couple of most every year. Nothing ventured, nothing gained

Throw **** against the wall and see if something sticks.

another big guy who was a college QB.

66 catches for 888 with the Bears in 2016, ACL tear in 2017, struggled last year.

interview form his days with the Bears:

Does he possess Cat like quickness?

I hope that this is not a "bad signal" for all (like me) Gordon fans

Anyway...why not also for me
Let s see what he brings

Did he get re-injured while signing his deal?

Who was let go? Or were we under the 90 man limit?

No complaints and not expecting much if anything...

Pro Football Focus graded out Meredith as the best double move route runner in the NFL in 2016. I know, PFF... but it is something. Before the knee injury he seemed to be a slot monster in the making.

Always liked him. He could easily be cut tomorrow but who knows.

Me thinks Inman may be gone soon.

If he can get healthy , why not

4.49 40 at his pro day at Northwestern (he went to Illinois State).

Not great, but not bad either.
Snippet from an article claims he ran a 4.42 & 4.45 at his Pro day, 39 vertical & 6.76 3 cone, very interesting numbers.

Wide receiver Cameron Meredith (6-3 3/8, 207) ran the 40 in 4.42 and 4.45 seconds. He had a 39-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-7 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.17 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.76 seconds. He performed 12 lifts on the bench press. He had a good positional workout and could be a priority free-agent pickup following the draft.
