Well last year he was #2 and #3 for avoid chunk of the year, on a SB champ, so that’s wrong. We have no one else but Edelman who has even proven they could be a 4.
When JE, Josh and Hogan were in the lineup he was WR4

Ok then I’ll accept that as your way of admitting you are wrong and that you have no real response.
It's ok Andy. It's never Gilmore's fault. And I'm always wrong. I get it Andy. You are god. You are right. You're the smartest person on this message board. We bow to your infinite wisdom. I mean we all LOVE it when you share your wisdom with us with never ending posts. Don't we?

Bill is like "don't tell anyone i gave you this"

And when they weren’t, which was a big chunk of the season he was 2/3.
We don’t have Gordon or Hogan.
If we did your argument might make more sense because you’d be talking about a roster spot that might not need much PT. With no other TE or WR on the roster who ever ran a route for Brady aside from the injured Edelman it’s a different story.
I get the argument that a spare part would be a place to take a shot at a guy who could grow into a player over a reliable player, but this is a critical spot that going to need to be relied upon this year.

Got it. You know you are wrong so you act like a child. I’m not saying I am smart I am saying your argument verifiable sucks.
How about this?
Answer these 2 questions.
1) Was it Gilmore’s or the safety’s fault in the Allen TD abs how do you know.
2) How would you rate Gilmore’s play in that game against Allen. To recap Allen caught that pass, which we don’t know whose fault it was, and one other in a zone away from Gilmore and was shut out the rest of the day.

Drop the inferiority complex and being threatened by me and answer those questions.

You are wrong because you are ripping a guy for a play that you have zero clue whether he was responsible in a blowout game where he shut down and dominated an all pro WR.

I have serious zen-like enlightened moments when I realize I am missing out on the other half of ignored disagreements. True happiness.

They say it takes a couple yrs removed from the ACL... Jules proved otherwise but let's hope rivers found his burst
When you look at this defense and project what Rivers best case would be, it’s exactly what would elevate the defense the most

If Dorsett doesn't make the team that means better players are on the roster.

Are you opposed to that?

Oh, no, Andy. Please, I don't deserve any of your wisdom. I'm not worthy of it. I'm just an idiot and I'm always wrong. Take your latest participation trophy. You deserved it. Truly a man worth respecting. I hope to one day reach your level of intelligence.

Meanwhile at Falcons camp...

I understand why you refuse to answer the questions and turn into a clown instead of discussing your point of view.
You would make a wonderful ostrich.

You honour me, Andy. Your infinite wisdom. I hope to one day understand it. I'm just an idiot and I'm always wrong. Thank god Gilmore never makes a mistake.

Of course not. I’m opposed to the viewpoint that without Demaryius and/or Gordon as part of the group there is any real chance of it happening.

If we went out and improved the position so that a solid wr3/wr4 had no room on the roster I would be thrilled but we didn’t.

I think it's safe to say if the Patriots see two better options, Dorsett's job might be in jeopardy. Maurice Harris seems to be a good bet for one of the spots, but Dorsett must be the front runner for #4 for the many reasons mentioned.

I agree with Andy that Bill will take the safe route and maybe even go 5 WRs and 2 TE's, if Braxton can return punts. Or Gordon comes back. Or they trade JJ for a WR. Or something else.

Let me break down your points.
This is just an attempt to throw shade to distract from your terrible argument.

I hope to one day understand it.

I hope you can to, that’s why I responded and asked you the questions that would lead you toward understanding.

I'm just an idiot and I'm always wrong.
I never said that but in this case, you are wrong by definition if you are trying to say you know who blew that coverage and if you are trying to say Gilmore wasn’t fantastic in that game

Thank god Gilmore never makes a mistake.
I never said that either which you know. But the only way to cover up that you are wrong about the one specific thing we disagree with is to pretend I am saying more than I am. See how that works?
Gilmore May have blown that coverage. Either he did or the safety did. But you don’t know. I am sure Gilmore has played the wrong coverage at some points. I would imagine less than 5% of the players in the NFL have never player the wrong call.

What’s wrong is you are trying to trash Gilmore when he played pretty much the game of the year by a corner (especially if the safety blew that play) by pretending you know he blew that play, when you don’t, and ignoring the other 60 plays of the game.
Gilmore like every player makes mistakes. You just picked a poor example to try to hang on him and you are too stubborn to accept it so you play silly childish games.
I’m done.

I think it’s unlikely that Maurice Harris is/will be ahead of dorsett. No doubt they are competing but imo dorsett has a clear leg up.
