Slot Corners are getting a lot of money nowadays... I think J. Jones will be out of our reach

Look at Justin Coleman. Got 36 over 4.

Tom extends to create cap room

Clowney for Jones and Caserio
Clowney will need to get paid.

Ain't happening here.

Live Video of training camp right now on Patriots.com - didnt know they did this..

They should trade their future GM and a really good CB for a guy on a one year franchise tag who will want 100 million next year.

Brilliant idea, right out of the Jets playbook.

We need Jones for the Tyreek Hills of the world hold on to him and maybe even extend him.
I don't care where Dawson was drafted if Jones is a much better player.
Any word how Crossen looks in his year 2 leap?
The dude still sucks looking at day 1. Maybe day 2 will be better.

Hell, by the time Brady’s (assumed) cap hit goes into effect for 2020, we’re going to be having discussions on how to free up space for next year, let alone this year.

Curran and Perry stated that they’re currently projected to have around 40m, but that’s before any Brady cap hit (let’s say 25), as well as Devin McCourty and KVN. Sure, they’ll have some money to play with like any other year, but it’s not going to be nearly as much as some were predicting.

Next year the Patriots need to draft well (again, hopefully) and rely on some rookies to get contributions.

According to spotrac it's actually only 28 BEFORE Brady however 32 additional million of cap room can be created through cuts of Bennett, Harmon, Hightower, J. McCourty and Cannon.

Not all are going to get cut but some so I think you will work with about 50 million. Hopefully Brady's cap hit won't be too high but it still like we won't have endless money. But enough to get depth on the roster and maybe make 1 bigger signing.

My first post on here. Could I just say thanks to all you guys who post information on training camp and non game issues involving our team. This really helps fans from outside the US understand what is going on and appreciate what goes into creating and maintaining one of sports greatest dynasties.

Are we talking about the same Coleman? The one I know stunk here.
Stunk all the way to the bank.

I didn’t think he was too bad, just not worth the Brinks truckload of money he got.

Hes not worth a 1/10th of it.

I think so. I didn't think he stunk here. He got unnecessary hate here for some reason. He allowed a few balls to be completed on him but he was always balling.

We have a different recollection.

I was a believer in Justin Coleman, too, and didn’t fully understand all of the criticism. He’s carved out a nice role for himself over in Seattle.

Gilmore's contract will probably be reworked next year, and DMac might well retire, so there will be money freed up in the secondary. With JC Jackson, Crossen, Dawson, and Williams, I expect at least 2 (Jackson, certainly) to step up big time.

There might well be money for J Jones to stick around.

Also, Logan Ryan is a UFA next year, and I wouldn't rule out a reunion, especially if the Titans fall short again. He's got lots of good friends here, knows the system, of course, and never had a bad word to say about the organization that I've heard.
