No suspension? Wouldn't that open up a shyt show with the NYFL and other players previously suspended?
They sound like they might be making the mistake of using Sharks of Vegas as a “high ranking” source, again.

If Hill doesn’t serve a suspension, there will be an uproar, for sure. Personally, I assumed that a suspension was coming when Goodell decided to use two women as the investigators in a battered woman’s (plus child) case. I just don’t see that as a coincidence. I see it as another example of arriving at the conclusion and shaping the narrative, but in this case it’s actually fair and just.

Ryan Fitzpatrick: 'There's been a lot of shade and disrespect thrown my way for a lot of years'

Career record of 50-75 and he’s concerned “there’s been a lot of shade” ?!?

Step back : any team with FitzCranky. (Did you hear about his alma mater ?)
50-75-1
That's 126 NFL starts or the equivalent of nearly eight full seasons...usually with bad/mediocre teams or with a team trying to groom a young QB.

Not bad for a guy from a school that's not a hotbed of First (or second or third or fourth or fifth or sixth) round picks...or UDFA's for that matter.

He also probably "learned pretty good" at that school about managing his money. Adds up to a pretty nice life, if you ask me...and he'll probably have solid employment prospects if he ever wants to work in "the real world."

As for complaining about the "shade?" He's a competitive guy, but he'd have to be to start in 126 NFL games, wouldn't he? Exactly how many NFL starts at QB do you have under your belt?

I’m a middle aged man posting on a fansite.... pretty sure we all know how many starts I have at QB.

I object to his whining about lack of respect when - despite getting farther than 99.999% of all football players - he has been substandard throughout. He is inconsistent and has a penchant for bad INTs that lead to losses. The “shade” he’s received was justified criticism for poor play. He is talking like he’s a perennial all star not getting his due, when in fact he has only lasted this long because bad franchises keep employing him as a so-so at best stop gap until they draft another loser at QB...

...and he's made almost $60m in career earnings.

He can take his "shade " and stuff it up his ***

After another Carson Wentz injury... the Eagles

You just can’t stay good without a really good QB

Chicago
Baltimore
Dallas
Carolina (I think they’ll be in the running for worst record. Cam is done.)

St Louis Blues

He has another $7,000,000 of fully guaranteed cash coming his way in 2019 and 2020, so if the "shade" thing motivates him, it seems to be working.

Three points.
One, motivation is motivation. If that's "shade" in his case, more power to him. I don't think he's delusional...I just think he's doing and saying what he has to do and say to keep his competitive fire burning.

Two, I'll leave it to the numbers folks to decide the standard by which he is "substandard." Compared to a Brady, Brees, P. Manning and a half dozen others, for sure. Compared to most of the jokers who come and go or warm the bench, I'm not so sure.

Three, nothin' wrong with making a living off of "bad franchises," since that describes most of the NFL.
