He's a kid who has overcome ACL tears in both knees, really strong for his size. Some problems with block destruction playing inside out, but he's a solid off-ball player, will at least be a special teams stalwart and is another high character guy. As an ND fan, I would love to watch him play for the Pats.

Ok but the league is going the opposite way so how does that work?

If most offenses are going to 3+ wide spreads and defenses designed to stop same, it becomes relatively easy to acquire elite running offensive personnel who crush undersized defenses designed to stop the spread is the general theory.
