He was probably rated much higher than any other players that were in a position of need. We probably needed a backup RB anyway, one that can actually run between the tackles.

There's going to be plenty of roster cuts coming to fill those needs. You don't pass on a talent like Harris here.

They are morphing into a run first team. RBs take a pounding, Sony’s knee is meh and the league us getting small on D.

All part of Bill zigging when others zag. They must feel very good about Wynn, and right tackles are easier to find.

Or he just didn't like the TEs available. I see a trade coming - Rudolph or Brate, probably.

As for DL, sign Timmy Jernigan and Allen Bailey and call it a win.

That's the problem when you keep trading down, eventually the guy you want won't be there. I trust Bill, but Warring would have been nice.

You're assuming, of course, that Warring would be the pick if the Pats had stayed at 73/77.

It's more likely that he simply didn't have that high a grade on Warring.

Injuries tend to shake out RB workload, probably figure Michel is the #1 guy, Harris is #2, and injuries will likely ensure they each get their carries.

Barring that, I'd say he basically replaces Jeremy Hill.
