True, he’s still one of the worst NFL players I’ve ever seen. Can someone explain to me why he wasn’t able to knock JuJu out of bounds? He was so bad on defense it was painful.

At least those other guys weren’t massive reaches. Richards was a projected 5th round pick at best if I remember correctly.

He just had zero feel for the defensive game. Slow to react. Just crap instincts.

Same is true with Matty Slater. GOAT STer but on D and O hes a fish out of water.

Richards elevated that Falcons D last year he took em literally off the charts.

The Patriots need Three to Four contributors from this 2019 Draft. We don't need any Mash units in year one stay away from often injured players please BB. No Easley or Jordan Richards type selections early on. This Draft is Deep in certain areas especially our NEED areas ie...WR and TE.

After hearing next year is going to be better for QB's ( Just taking the talking heads word for it)...The trade up IMHO would be for a TE....Fant probably the only one BB would consider the trade up for........otherwise he would hope Smith drops to him at #32......if not, he uses Jace Sternberger or Wilson as a fallback option later.....but WTF do I know....

As long as he doesn't reach for a Richards or Wilson early on, I'm ok with whomever he rolls with...

Williams is TOOOOO SLOWWWW, unless they are playing him at safety. But smaller, quicker WRs will eat him up.

I seem to remember that it was Zo telling a story about Canty getting lit up in camp and they were in the huddle talking about how bad he was and that it was a joke that he was the 1st round pick. I might be wrong, but I recall it was a huge dig at Pete Carroll that this kid couldn't play. They were laughing at him and by extension, Carroll.
