Where did you see that he ran a 4.5? His Pro-Day 40 was supposedly a 4.77 according to the RAS tool and a 4.71 according to one article. And he didn't run the Shuttle or 3 Cone because he pulled his hamstring with about 6 yards left on his 40.. Not to mention only a 32" vertical.

Anyone who tests really well but is raw or from a small school. Krossion from western Carolina fit that bill last year.

I think we should take a flyer on Fitzgerald the qb from miss state and convert him to wide receiver. After two years, we could have hogan part 2.

Thanks! It's not an exhaustive list (for example, I left off Jamal Davis, one of my favorites, because I think he'll go sooner than the 7th), and it's mostly bigger schools but lesser known players. I may do another pass later with smaller school prospects.

I'll probably make a similar post for the other positions over the next week, if I have time. That's been the real let down this year -- a lack of time to truly dig into every player past the top 400 - 500 or so. I guarantee that Belichick will surprise me a few times.

Markus Jones olb from Angelo state. 17 sacks and 36 tackles for loss. If he can play special teams while getting coached up, he might end up being a trey flowers “lite” kind of guy at 6’2” and 256 pounds.

I was watching Noah Fant and noticed how good a blocker Iowa slot WR Nick Easley was on screens to Fant. I knew Easley tested well at his combine so did a athletic comp with Edelman. Edelman is in brackets

I watched a ton of Iowa games the past 2 years bc I really liked what I saw from Stanley coming into the year. He didn't progress at all but it was clear those around him were held back or limited w what they could do.

Easley would recognize a zone design, run a dig so a LB would be on him as opposed to a DB w no look from the QB.

Tons of plays like that or he'd just beat his man w no shot of getting the ball.

Killed the 10, shuttle & 3 which love & ran a sub 4.55 I believe? He'd be an excellent fit here.

One reason I want to wait at WR & a possible trade up for a TE. I'd be down w a small trade for Fant/Hock but its a position ruled by guys like Kittle, Ertz, Kelce, McDonald, Walker etc excluding Gronk who was a 2nd but top 10-20 on a lot of boards.
