I do think with these mocks some self regulation is needed. Jerry Tillery in the 3rd? Boykin in the 7th? If it was me, I wouldn’t make those picks so that I could make my mock more realistic. But that is just me, it’s entirely up to you how you play it of course.

What website is the most accurate
I know some are all over the place
1st pick is the worst
Hockenson in the second or third some drafts.

Yup they’re tough. Fanspeak is alright because you can choose the board you use. The Draft Network is ok but uses their own board. On that one, I have an idea of what the value might be for a prospect and tend to use my own values whilst on occasion, ignoring theirs. Both don’t allow you to trade unfortunately unless you pay an annual subscription on Fanspeak.

Dane Brugler writing for The Athletic has a full 7rd mock out today. If you download their app, you get 3 free articles.

1 J. Simmons - DT - Miss St - Love this pick
2a Irv Smith - TE - Bama - Doubt he falls this far. I'd trade 64 and 101 to move up to get him
2b Jahlani Tavai - LB - Hawaii - I know nothing about him
3a D'Andre Walker - Edge - Georgia
3b Ryan Finley - QB - NC St - Not a fan.
3c Mecole Hardman - WR - Georgia - Really fast
4 Ka'Dar Hollman - CB - Toledo
6 Trevon Wesco - TE - West Va
7a Darius West - S - Kentucky
7b Cody Thompson - WR - Toledo
7c David Edwards - T - Wisconsin
7d Qadree Ollison - RB - Pitt (Captain Stone gonna love that one:))

Given his board, I might go

1. Simmons - DT Future starter.
2. Smith - TE -Moving up to get him (64&101) Move TE. Can replace Develin
in passing situations right away.
2. J. Thornhill - S - Virginia - Maybe D. McCourty's replacement
3a T. McLaurin - WR - Ohio St - Big play threat and can play special teams too:)
3b K. Warring - TE - SD St Could start right away.
3c Traded up to get Irv Smith
4 Darius Slayton - WR - Auburn - Gamble on speed and athletic ability.
6 Shareef Miller - DE - PSU - I like this kid. Needs to get stronger.
Who knows about the 7th Rounders
K, QB, OL and LB

My first NFL mock draft. Have tried to be realistic. Others players strongly considered in brackets.

19 (trade 32 and 56 for 19 and 121 with Tennessee) TJ Hockenson, TE
64 Taylor Rapp, S (Elgton Jenkins/Deebo Samuel)
73 Andy Isabella, WR (Zach Allen/Max Scharping/Dawson Knox)
84 (trade 97 and 121 to Seattle) D'Andre Walker, DE/OLB (Riley Ridley/Khalen Saunders)
111 (trade 101 and 239 for 111 and 147) Bobby Okereke, LB (Kahale Warring/Mecole Hardman)
134 Diontae Johnson, WR (Blake Cashman/Malik Gant)
147 Hjalte Froholdt, OG
205 Trey Pipkins, OT
243 Mitch Hyatt, OT/G
246 Jonathan Ledbetter, DE
252 Quadre Ollison, RB

First pick speaks for itself and solidifies the TE position. Rapp seemed good value at 64. Isabell can play inside and out and take on the KR role. Walker can rush off the edge, plays with good technique and can potentially take over from Hightower/Van Noy in a year. Okereke can start on special teams. I then took a number of mid-late round lineman to see who sticks.

You can also create your own big board and use those on the Draft Network. Neat feature.

I like your mock much, Much better than Brugler's mock (his picks at 2b, 3b, 3c, & 4 are particularly stupid), though I wouldn't trade Anything in order to draft Irv Smith. If he's still available at 56, terrific; if he''s not, no real biggie.

Just playing around with a Fanspeak mock using the CBS big board. I experimented with McGary at 32 but then got wiped out with the best WRs by 56.

AJ & Hollywood, McLaurin, Campbell, Butler, Samuel and Harry all went between 33 and 55. I think there's a case for going WR at 32.

JJ Arcega might be a nice consolation prize at 56.

He was still there. I don't think he feels like a BB draft pick though.

Curious if you could elaborate. I really like his ability to win contested catches + produce in the red zone. He has clearly defined strengths as a player and shows some nice routes. I could see many worse options for an X.

I can’t think of many WRs on the Pats that look and play similarly to him. And it’s nothing to do with not liking him, merely how Patriot-y is he.

One block and done.

But what a glorious block it was! They're outlawed now, too, so it will be one of the last great ones we'll witness in the NFL.

On a more serious note, have you already forgotten Gordon? Similar size and athleticism.

First 3 picks would be a great start to this draft, I just don’t think they will be there.

The problem with most of the guys who win the jump balls is that they don’t get open regularly so Brady isn’t going to go to them. He did it with Moss because he was a freak, but he didn’t like it when it started leading to picks and locking on him. They clearly put a premium on getting open, being where you are supposed to be, catching it, and not turning it over.
