OT: Patriots Man Caves

I hope to one day be rich enough to have an entire room in my house devoted to a hobby.

Most posters here mention using grown children's bedrooms, repurposing basements, sharing with their kids toy room... hardly big dreams or one-percenter type stuff here.

But, I too hope that you are rich enough some day all said and done.

Thanks. I don't know how I missed that. I also adjusted the Pats' titles to reflect the season instead of the date of the title.

My mancave is 1250 sq ft. We downsized when my youngest daughter went off to college 3 1/2 years ago. She graduates in May. I had the basement finished with the intent of making it a mancave. Pictures will be forthcoming.

Mark has been doing a good job keeping me in suspense as we await more photos. Anyone who knows him knows that he doesn't do anything half way, so I'm definitely looking forward to when he posts them (hint, hint)

Thanks! I bought a bunch of complete set cartridges when a local arcade went out of business around 2000. And then later that year I found the cabinet on Ebay in Philly. I used to pump so many quarters in these back in the early 90's.

I just read it with "Caves" as the verb...

As u can c, I don’t post often... I lurk. (Lurking is the best way to travel) anyways, I gotta say your pic .... just fills me up! But where is the toilet Paper? A true bathroom experience isn’t the toilet but where the toilet paper is! N no single squares! U need a roll!

@Ian, when we were in Maine, Mrs. Rover built me an awesome 1000 sq ft Patriots/Red Sox/cigar-smoker man-cave over the 3-car garage.

Included: giant TV (natch)
Monster leather couch (of course)
Ceiling fan exhaust (you probably won't need that... unless your game day meal is 3-alarm chili )
Pool table (nice for half-time)
Refrigerator (a must)

...and the piece de resistance... a bathroom... with a urinal.

I enjoyed the hell out of that room for the first three Super Bowls.

These days on Long Island, though, for the last three SB's... my man-cave is the garage... unheated... no TV (I watch on the iPhone if I want a cigar during the game... while freezing my *** off)...

...but it still has that urinal quality...


...can't seem to keep out the neighborhood cats. SAMMY!!!! Stop peeing in the corner!!!
