Tyreek Hill Investigation

It is if it replaces the emotions someone would normally use in their own relationships and on themselves. Like this guy:

But having a glimmer of empathy for Brady because he's been falsely accused for inflating footballs is normal and healthy. That's the purpose of sports fandom, to get a break from our own stress and dramas for a while.
and Roger "SCUMBAG" Goodell has ruined that for us for the rest of our lives. Now if it turns out he's dropped into a vat of HCl acid on national TV, I may change my mind

Amazing how much energy there is here about child abuse. Most of us have experienced it in some way, either directly or as a witness.

I know a lot more about empathy than I do football. Here's another way to think about it when it runs amok, as an alternative to "too much."

Empathy is made up of two parts: sensitivity to emotions in others , and intelligence about what to do with that data. The behavior that @KontradictioN speaks to comes from sensitivity being much more developed than the intelligence. Those people get overwhelmed by the data they are taking in, and the data is often about pain or discomfort others are feelings.

And, the balancing capability to empathy is assertiveness (sensitivity to and care for the self). "Overly empathetic" people often have an underdeveloped sense of self and ability to be assertive.

So in sum, when someone is overly sensitive, doesn't know what to do with all that emotional data about someone else, and doesn't have an equally strong sense of self, they get weird (technical term).
The sense of self is manifested by keeping our intellect over our emotions. And I guess you’re right in that the assertiveness it takes to do that comes from self worth. Why allow circumstances of others to control one’s emotion?

Nice post

Actually, they should turn that into a pay-per-view. They’d make millions. I’m surprised the NFL, which rarely overlooks a marketing opportunity, however misguided, hasn’t thought of this.

Assuming that youre not aware.

I have lived in the KC area for 23 years. If youre looking for links or direct quotes from folks regarding this Hill matter, I do not have those.

As always, thanks for your inquiries.

I’m not aware, but you mentioned “a third woman.” I assume first woman is the fiancée, and I totally missed #2, let alone #3. Instead of a “love triangle” it’s a “love square” although instead of “love” it’s “anger and punching”.

Feels like this is being buried.
Schefter spoke on his podcast on Monday that investigations are underway and the NFL is keeping a close look at this as well. Don't think it can be buried.

The first Hill assault case involved a woman # 2.

Im hearing that this alleged assault case involves a woman # 3.

News here keeps reporting that the Overland Park, Police are conducting 2 investigations in regards to Hill.

I don't think Tyreek is capable of love.

The Chiefs willdo everything they can to squash this. If Tyreek goes bye bye, so do the Chiefs. They are desperate for that to not happen.

Heard to that Hill is on the trade block.

Just a rumor.

No offense but how would you know anything?
I live in the KC area.

My neighbor is a well renowned Chiefs fan who has connections like Mitch Holthus radio voice of the Chiefs.

I was talking to a fan today at the gun show. He knew his 5hit and mentioned that Hill is up for trade. The Chiefs are sick of him.

It's dumb how this all plays out.

If he ever ended up guilty for this, people would be DEMANDING the Chiefs cut him yet when the Browns would then inevitably scoop him up people would just accept it. The narrative would go from "How dare the Chiefs keep this guy on their team!" to "Whoa, what another pickup by the Browns! Could be risky but wow they'll be something special if it works out!"

There's hardly any significant outcry against the Browns signing Hunt, not even a top story with them. It's OK to employ these guys as long as they cut by another team first as far as public reaction is concerned.

Hey I think the Browns are trash for picking Hunt up.
