Other than kickers, every gaping hole in the roster now has proven NFL players to fill it. (I think, or am I missing something?)

Granted, not proven starters, but players who can keep the lamp burning until a better player is brought in.

How many teams can say that today?

So they now go in to the draft with nothing left to do but draft the best players available that fall to them, and/or move up to grab players that they believe will be significant upgrades.

I love being a fan of this team.

We have it so good.
Thanks B for BB & TB an the rest.
i really have to hand it to ya...

Err, belay that.

Compare to Missouri misery
Rams stolen. Chief heartbreak. Losing SB, niot fun
as we know.
Reeks' insult to injury

Great loyal fans, hurtin

I even feel for old school Steeler faithful
Winning has made me magnanimous

**** the Jets

Tannehill deal made me immediately think
Mariota? Can have that?
25
2015 four-year, $24,213,974 contract
average salary of $6,053,494. (WPedia)

Good guy. Never in a solid set-up
Permanent OC rotation
"Okay, we are changing everything again"
Receivers specialize in drops

So he caught a pass from himself
Heh

Maybe BB can steal him?

Things are pretty damn sweet right now. Soon many of the “WHY didn’t Bill sign anyone? Why did he let everyone leave and act so cheap?” newb pissants will hopefully begin to get quieter and quieter as they typically lose interest in the non-flashy periods of the offseason following the first week of free agency. And then of course, this trusted and proven franchise will carry on and continue to get better going into the 2019 season.

They really are in a strong position

Teams will be panicky during draft,
looking for picks RIGHT NOW
and get stupid.
BB will oblige them.
Looking forward to it
Win SB, then be in command during the draft.
Unbelievable
No wonder they hate us.

Anyone watching the AAF?
Surprisingly good. Polian a key, smart move, well executed.
Saves me from this abyss part of the year.
Thanks Bill Polian.
Never thought I would say that.
We know BB is watching.

Why do so many of us seem to look for reasons to be miserable?

At the same time we see traditional AFC contenders melting.

PIT lost Bell and AB and it's clear the rest of the team blames Ben for it.

KC lost Hunt and now Hill seems to be on the verge of taking himself off the field too.

John Dorsey is in CLE and KC just isn't the same.

Every year has different AFC contenders. JAX and CLE are NOT folding.

Other teams are in much worse positions... the bad teams have scooped up lotsa FAs, last year’s contenders are in disarray.

Obviously, if there WAS a game tomorrow, the D would be ready and the O would be run heavy (pretty sure our TE would be an extra eligible OL if Gronk and his agent are still considering all options).

There are still holes to fill, but with 12 picks and a few more FAs out there, NE is in a better spot than all / almost all other franchises.

One interesting point of view: teams with lots of cap room and signing lots of FAs are just advertising to the world that they haven't had any players worth retaining and haven't drafted and developed replacements either. Da Jete are the textbook case of this.

March 2019...i am dreaming an Afc Championship January 2020

CLEVELAND BROWNS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

We need the draft to improve but we are in a strong position heading into the draft.

The WR corps has a very 2006 feel to it and the Pats cannot draft WRs. We have no idea if Wynn can adequately replace Brown.
