Wouldn’t be surprised if we did.

Wouldn't be surprised if we trade up either. It all depends on who is on the board.

It depends on if anybody they like is still available.

My money is on no. I think they want an athletic playmaker at DL/DT, the safety position and TE ready to go Year 1.

Depends whos there and whos not. Bb has traded up before if the right guy is there.

Yes....and no

12 picks in 2019...sounds more like a trade up than a trade down year

We have what 12 picks? I’m only expecting around 8 or so players drafted so expect wheeling and dealing up and down the draft board to get a particular player and acquiring future picks in 2020.

Figuring out Coach Bill Bellichick's draft strategy is almost impossible

I am supremely confident that we will either A) Trade out of the first round, B) Trade up in the first round, or C) Make a pick at 32. Go ahead and quote me on that.

How the hell should we know? Even they have no idea right now.

I'd like to see that if they identify an early impact player.

Ideally, I think we draft 8 - 10 players, and the rest of the picks are either traded for cheap veteran acquisitions or into the future so we can load up draft capital in 2020 for a move for a QB.

If Daniel Jones is available at 32, I can see our drafting down, because we may get some good offers from pro-Jones teams.

In any case, we rarely trade up.

I've been wanting us to trade out for a 2nd 2020 1st forever now.

That said it takes 2 to make a deal & who knows, who's on the board.

We have so much flexibility though. 2 2nd's & 3 3rd's, we can easily move up into the high 30's/40's if someone we like falls out of Rd1.

I am all for Trading up and targeting specific guys. If they come away with Two starters I call it a successful Draft.

Wait for the trade back for a tackle with the first pick lol.

I think it's 80% certain we trade out. It's Belichick's normal procedure. He will trade for a 2nd round pick this year, and maybe a 2nd in 2020.
