Bummer, he was fun to watch in this offense and was a hard nosed runner with the ball in his hands

Still can't believe he got 2 targets during most important series of the season.. Overall he was solid though
Was Dorsett even out there?

I liked him, sad to see him go. I thought he was one player that would stick around.

Now who will run the end around for a gain of 2?

I mean they got some plays out of him but iverall the experiment was a failure. If he was a real wr there were a ton of opportunities for him last year.

Definitely not worth the $ he got for the couple gadget plays a game he’s in on.

He was a second all pro returner. He ran the ball for a whole game for us well. He has some packages at receiver and he runs gadget plays. We paid him 3.2 mil and I think he was worth every penny. Perhaps we show cased how versatile he is and increased his value on the open market. 5 mil may be a bit much but he didn’t get grossly overpaid.

Was used on gadget plays because he was not a very good wide receiver. Get
a couple of wide receivers who can actually run a pass pattern, get separation, and
catch the ball.

Me too, but a 2 year $10MM deal is hard to turn down for a very exciting, though limited player.

He did a lot of good thing for this team, beyond any gadget plays. He saved our ass the game he was the primary RB. God did he run hard. He did every thing the team asked and earned that Ring.

I always had hopes that with a 2nd year, he could become that big outside, stretch the field threat. Maybe on his next team.

Who will be our mid season starting RB?

He was a better RB than some RB's. Lol

What was the expectation? WR3?

In his time here he had 1,138 all-purpose yards and 5TDs. For $3m that is outstanding production. Far from a failure IMO

And it seems that he never gave the pats a chance to give him a counter offer, i was under the impression that he liked it here.
