adam shefter just reported Trey Flowers is signing with the Lions. No money numbers yet, but it is a 5 year deal.

Well that is our 2nd 3rd round comp pick for 2020. The other is from Trent Brown going to the Raiders.

Does this mean we keep Clayborn? I still think they'll cut him and draft a replacement especially with Bennett joining.

Would anyone have been okay paying Flowers 16-17 million per season? I am legitimately asking. I do think the team will feel his departure.

AHHHHHH. d%#*!@t.

At least he’s heading to Detroit. Best of luck Trey.

No surprise. I saw this coming a long time ago. Now, let's go get Houston!

I guess re-sign Simon to go with Bennett and there's your attempt at a flowers replacement?

Predicted he’d be gone. Good luck to him. Guess the destination makes sense.

Yeah, I would. The cap is climbing a lot each year and I really love his game. He's hardly ever injured, sets the edge, gets lots of pressure, keeps his mouth shut - true DE and professional.

Still, it's probably best that BB makes the call instead of me doing it...
