Pittsburgh is in a bad position now. Trust me, AB will go for a 3rd rounder or less. It wouldn't shock me if the Pats could get him for a bargain price if they just played the waiting game.

AB isn't suiting up for anyone, if he isn't given a new contract making him the highest paid WR in the game. That's just bad business, regardless of which team gives it to him. 31 year old head cases do not warrant those numbers. Thank God Bill doesn't pay for past performance, it's about the now and future.

Thanks and my apology. Maybe I’m not cut out for this social media stuff

Nah....keep posting Bustamove. None of us know all the facts behind most of these posts. Its mostly opinions and speculation based on reports that may or may not be complete facts. Sometimes folks can get a little emotional but I like to think its pure passion!! I've seen reports of a fracture in the locker room but those reports don't seem to hold much weight. However, personally I think Carr is overrated. I too wondered why they'd get rid of Cooper but reportedly be interested in AB and I lean towards him not going to the Raiders. But who knows. However as stated in this thread.....having AB will be the best thing that ever happened to Carr. Hope your grandchild is feeling better. Keep on posting!

lol no we can’t even if we offered a 1st there not sending him here

Steelers completely ****ed this up. They should have asked Brown for a list of teams he won’t threaten to not report for and then allowed his agent to talk to them. Then teams would have had a lot more interest knowing they were getting a player who wanted to go there and whose contract situation would be agreed to. Instead they’ve been trying to figure out compensation when teams are increasingly hesitant to take on Brown at any cost. Once again this goes back to their arrogance in deciding which teams they will and won’t deal him to. They hold the worst hand here. Brown has used his leverage well.

Hey fatso...BUSTAMOVE....:D

At this point, sorry, Not even for a 2024 7th.
There is no way I’d want to be part of this douchebag agenda. F the steeler fans, I’m enjoying their misery, but F Antonio Brown even more. I really hope Rooney sacks up and sits this pig for 2 more years. I’d love to watch that union fight that one without looking like complete garbage, money sniffing whores. He was set to make a lot of money in the last 2 years of his contract. Years that are usually fiction with inflated back pay. Yet he wants more? If this guy gets signed he sets the worst precedent for players to just do this sort of thing.

I’m not saying that the guaranteed money and the way NFL handles player contracts shouldn’t be changed. It should, but as a whole, not by one selfish player looking for his.

Thank you for your regards towards my grandkid. Sorry if I snapped but some of you guys come in strong and are very argumentative. That gets my goat. No pun intended towards Brady. Some can respond in a nice demeanor while others make you feel like you need to retain an attorney. Supafly responded to me and he gives the impression of having a different opinion but showing some respect in doing so. Others break down everything you say and start the interrogation process. Thanks and my apology. Maybe I’m not cut out for this social media stuff
Breaking a post into pieces isn’t intended to be an interrogation.
It’s done in order to separate the points being made and address each individually. For clarity.

3rd and 5th round picks given up apparently?

Edit: Beware, it's another rapaport report! Could be wrong.

Brown to Raiders. Getting new contract. 3rd and 5th round pick only. LOL!!!!!!

Raiders apparently not a real competitor but beat the Steelers last year.

Antonio Brown will be traded to the Raiders
For a player of that calibre and game changing ability, if he and Carr develop chemistry, that's a steal. Oakland retaining all of their first round picks and acquiring Brown is exceptional.

Steelers so messed this up.
They should not have let Brown hold them hostage like this. They were played by Brown and all they get back is a third and a fifth.
Because of what happened with Leveon Bell they were desperate to get anything.

Good trade for RAIDERs basically Amari Cooper, a third and a fifth for a first (Cowboys) and Antonio Brown

2019,2020,2021 the Bears are paying Mack (28,29,30 years) $50m

2019,2020,2021 the Raiders are paying Brown (31,32,33 years) $50m

Which one would you rather have for the next 3 years for $50m? It's easily Mack right?

IMO, Antonio Brown is a better player than Khalil Mack. The age factor is irrelevant.

What an epic trade loss for the Steelers, if that turns out to be correct. They would have been better off just mothballing Brown. It could at least have served the purpose of dissuading others.
