All I know is I have a just in case plan. If we trade down five times. I can’t watch again lol

I'd rather spend the 3rd-round pick on Finley....

I dont get the Finley love Rypien outplayed him.
He doesn't have a very strong arm it seems.
I have him rated near the bottom of my QBs.
Can you tell me what you like about him?
If much rather have Rosen.
Thank you

Heard Jason LaCanFora state Rosen would be a traded for a third round pick. He basically ripped Rosen and his time in Arizona.

I'd take that Josh and Josh Rosen can learn behind Brady and eventually replace him.

If Brady signs a three year extension, its way to early to be worrying about the heir apparent. You're wasting Rosen's entire rookie contract before he even starts a game. That's a waste. Ideally you want the future QB here the year before Brady hangs it up.

But isn't the timing a problem (again)? Brady insists he's here for 3-4 more years. Rosen's contract runs the same distance. Is Rosen willing to sit that long? If he's not willing to sit that long, and the Pats trade for him, isn't that a direct contradiction of Brady's intentions? Even if the team believes Brady doesn't have 3-4 more years, are they going to publicly state it by acquiring Rosen and then assuring him he won't sit that long?

How does all that work?

Depends what Rosen develops into. If Rosen sits 2-3 years and then becomes the starter he needs to be extended but if he is a stud day 1 as starter it was worth it molding him.

that is exactly why it is a very Patriot move

How are Rosen's willingness to sit relevant?

3rd round pick is the highest I would go.

We all know that the Cards are drafting Kyler Murray.

Rosen has to be moved.

Unless he is content holding the clipboard. But where is the future in holding the clipboard for a guy who is 6 months YOUNGER than you?

If Brady plays another 3-4 years (LOL... I love the guy, but I do not see this happening), and the contract timing is bad, and Rosen doesn't want to stay around the same time that Brady is leaving.... We have a very good situation. We have an ex-top 10 QB that's 25 years old and has been tutored by the GOAT QB for the past 3 years. I think we'd get more than a first rounder for that.

Any investment into Rosen will reap rewards, assuming we can get him for a 3rd and he won't throw a ***** fit for sitting on the bench (I don't see that happening, but I'm just saying). I'd still do it for a 2nd or a 1st too, but the margins will be less outrageous.

Josh rosen is not going to be a Patriot. Get over it.

So a QB that was utter trash his rookie year, is gonna sit on the bench for 3-4 years, and the Pats will be able to trade him when his rookie deal ends for huge profit...all because he was in the same locker room as Brady. LMAO! That is so wrong.

Did you watch him play, or are you just saying he was trash because of his numbers?
