When are we going to see the traffickers arrested?
Are they ignoring the traffickers..? Sounds like they are in the process of taking down the whole thing, not just bagging the johns.

I don't have a great grasp on the trafficing angle of it all (or if there even is one).

But wouldn't it make sense that unraveling a multi-state, multi-national trafficking ring would take just a bit more time to get to the bottom of than a geriatric using a catch rag on tape in a state of post handy bliss?

I am kind of sick of people always denying the things that they do wrong. When did we become a society of cowards who hide our misdeeds and mistakes? I suppose we've always been that, but it does piss me off.

I've lived my entire life taking responsibility for my mistakes and being truthful at every opportunity. It annoys me to all hell that Kraft would just deny this when there is video evidence. This is the wrong example to set for fans and for Americans in general. Too often, the first move a guilty person makes is to cover up and deny. We need to be better than that.

Remember, Kraft did not deny it himself. A spokesperson did....it may be standard operating procedure...but then again, "No Comment" is a better strategy.

Quite frankly, by exposing the johns beforehand in such a public manner, have they not given the would be traffickers time to dispose of evidence, obstruct justice and/or flee? Seems to me you'd want to keep this on the low until you've taken down the masterminds of the scheme. Isn't that typically the way it works?

Two of the women with Bob had massage liscences and lived permanently in the USA.

Leave the guy alone. Pay the ticket and move on. The whole human trafficking angle is pure social justice bullsh@t.

This is the part where I'd like to see a lot more evidence. Media is saying trafficking and slavery everywhere. And not to downplay the seriousness of that angle , but I wouldn't be surprised that there are workers who are US citizens, permanent residents over a decade, and willingly working at a spa place....

.

You're talking about it being a line of defense and interpretation. I'm talking about it being the law. Any judge to convict would need proof of sex act/money discussion, exchange, negotiation etc.
Yes a judge would need proof beyond a reasonable doubt in order to convict. And if the prosecution can demonstrate a sex act took place and money changes hands, then the ole "I was only paying her for her time, the sex was free, so what I did was LEGAL" defense would not qualify as plausible deniability in most judges' eyes.

So showing his face at a pre-Oscars party the night after this news broke was a bad look for BK?

Yes

How many people know that Kraft was at the Oscars?

How many people know that he was caught in sex sting in Florida?

I'm not sure of how great a proxy it is, but the War on Drugs desires to, but hasn't, worked that way.

There's the somewhat famous quote from the Documentary The House I Live In where a Federal Judge (who ultimately led the charge to overturn the 100:1 Cocaine rule), when asked about how many people he has sent to jail for drugs, says basically "I have sent over 2800 people to jail for drugs and only 3 were Kingpins"

Seems the people at the business end of the transaction get popped regularly even without "getting the masterminds"

And you can't convict escorts based on a scenario that implies intent, else they wouldn't advertise in the yellow pages sir
Just because a place advertises in the Yellow Pages (do they even make the Yellow pages anymore?) doesn't mean it is a legit establishment. I'd bet Orchids of Asia was in the Yellow Pages but they weren't legit, now were they?

That doesn’t make him the team. He did a great thing keeping the team in NE, but 6 super bowls in 9 appearances is way more on Bill and Tom.

sure......but ownership will remain long after coach and QB are gone

a legit establishment?

I suspect that the establishment had licenses to be a massage parlor.

I assume the women will be blurred out? Embarrassing them even further would be really disgusting, hell I think a blurred out video release is still pretty disturbing.

Our friend seems to think that Escort Services are only performing legal acts if they advertise in the Yellow Pages. That conclusion is highly faulty.

I am sure Orchids of Asia had business licenses, tax ID's, etc, and probably also advertised in legitimate media (such as the Yellow Pages). But that doesn't mean they were above-board in all their dealings

I believe they're known as the internet libertarian's Huffington Post.

Reason magazine has been around a lot longer than the Huffington Post and certainly has a better reputation. They are also approaching this from a specifically ideological point of view.

Correct, the day spa was licensed to conduct business. It's been in business since the 6 years I've been living here. The Florida Department of Health conduct a routine inspection. During that inspection that inspector noted shenanigans going on. Meaning there were visible sings throughout the spa that people were living there.

The owners of the spa didn't go out of there way to cover there tracks.

Bob has always been a jock-sniffer and a star-f__ker. That wont change.

Agree on the hair but thats minor.

I'm not going to pass judgement but if he is interested in being "PR" with a female companion- agree. mid-to-late 50's would be perfect for him.

I give BB credit...he did OK for himself with his girl. I think she is in her mid 50s. 10 year age difference is nothing. 20ish is fine for men in their 70s

No disagreement about BB.

Now, I'm eternally grateful to the big three, Kraft, BB, and Brady, for what they've put together and I'll leave it at that.

That sounds very NWO dystopian of you.. the evidence you speak of was what? Entering the legal tax paying establishment? He hugged her upon entering and leaving. What if they were friends and she found it kinky. Then your 'crime' is not solicitation, it is indecent ejaculation outside of home or hotel. This is why escorts are legal throughout our land, if you want to talk legality.

You miss the point Entirely. This isn’t about Kraft, or the other high profile clients.

The investigation is Primarly about Human Trafficking and is being run by the Feds, specifically DHS and ICE.

They are looking at a criminal enterprise, The allegation is that women were brought to this country against their will and forced to provide sex for the benefit of their enslavers.

Are the women here legally?
If legal, were their passports seized?
If legal how were the passports obtained?
Were they gotten by the criminal org running these parlors?
How many parlors, multistate?
How many women nationally are being victimized by this ring?
Were the families of these women threatened?
Were the women physically abused in addition to being forced to provide
sex ?

These are the real issues. Kraft and the other rich billionaires are more a sideshow for the local cops and media. It serves a useful purpose to highlight the issue of sex trafficking, to bed for Kraft is more of a celebrity figure than the Citibank guy Hedge Fund CEO who were busted.

Back to Kraft for a moment he was followed by a detective after his first session who had a cop pull his car over to get his ID. How stupid/arrogant was he to go back the next day. Also he is on tape (Audio?) giving the women $$after his session after paying for the session at the front desk. Ironically when the Me Too thing happened, he donated $1.6M to a group to help victims of trafficking. You can't make this crap up.

I'm skeptical, but if the big hook of this case was human trafficking, why hasn't anyone been charged with human trafficking? (Having written that, human trafficking charges will probably be announced this afternoon.)

We know about Kraft, John Johnson, **** Palmer, Mingfu Lu and the others and, I assume, all their videos will be made public. How come we don't know the names of the traffickers? If that's what made this case more than just a prostitution sting, why is that information being kept quiet?

Being done by the FEDS not the local cops.
