Baker and love have to run well at the combine to remain in the first round. The tape says they are not nfl fast.

I'm not sure I agree. They're not speed merchants, but each player seems to have all the tools to be just fine. Anything sub 4.65 is perfectly okay given their technique and understanding of the game. Above that, and I'd still draft either player, but at a discount.

Around the 27 minutes mark in the podcast, Brad Kelly mentioned WR Stanley Morgan had some troubles while at Nebraska and didn't give a reason for his absence from the East-West Shrine game.

He could be a prospect dropping and going in the later rounds of the draft.

Yeah, I was talking about this with Jesse yesterday on another board. I'm actually the one who tipped him off to the story.

Kind of an odd background, but probably just a lapse in judgement. Not something that I personally approve of, but less of a legal issue than it first sounds since he was within 4 years of her age and I guess it was consensual. I'm not a fan of it, but it's surprising that it hasn't gotten more coverage, given the current societal climate.

I know there are Harry clips in here, I did a few but he deserves the love. Wouldn't mind one bit if he ended up here w 1 of our 2nds.

One of the more interesting situations in the country is the QB situation in Buffalo. Yes Buffalo. I've been following these 2 for about 2 years now. You have 2 big, prototype, strong armed QB's in Drew Anderson & Tyree Jackson (Just added along w/ others to jesse's database)

Jackson is something else. From Michigan. He can move & is elusive at or around 6'6. Looks like a bigger Kaep when he gets moving. Eats up yards & has what looks like 4.75 speed. Huge arm w/ some excellent placement on some bombs. Mechanics & release needs work but looks very fixable.
Looks like he might moving a little too fast out there at times & everything kinda gets away from him, making his movements look shaky & a tick slower. When he tightens his strides & upper half up he could be something fierce in the pocket.

Suffered a season ending knee injury last year

Drew Anderson is your classic big arm pocket passer. Again both these guy have real arms that can hit 60+ & you'll see for yourself each can drop it in the bucket from a far distance. One thing everyone looks for is the far hash throw & each can make that pass pretty easy. Anderson as a passer is probably a lil more advanced than Jackson. I've seen both a few times live & on tape & you can see Anderson adjust speed on his passes which tells me he make that dump it over a defender pass, back shoulder sideline.
If you adjust speed on some passes it only expands the territory you can target.

Both guys have experience running rpo. Have really live arms. Appear comfortable touching all 3 areas & are both athletes.

I don't like his delivery mechanics at all

No thanks on Jackson nor Anderson.
My QB rankings for Patriots
1.Lock
2.Thorson
3. Brett Rypien.
That's really where I'm at locked on these 3
I'm really warming up to Rypien in the middle rounds.
Sound mechanics can place the ball where the defender can't get it.
Looks off defense well with with his eyes causing holes to open in zone coverages.
Also has NFL pedigree which BB covets.
He doesn't wow you with his arm he's not the biggest guy but already is very football smart takes hits and still delivers good balls.
I think we can win games with him.

No Jackson is the same prospect he was last year more or less & that delivery is Leftwich bad. Too slow but I'd rather take a shot late rounds than have to spend a 2-3 on most of these guys

Locks intriguing but too expensive I'd guess.

Thats the thing that most are missing or thinking through.

Do we really need any of these guys rn?

Are they/how much better are we off w them as opposed to Hoyer/Et?

Bc of the class, position you're buying very high. I guess if it's your guy you get him but I'm not buying any of these guys as the next Pats franchise QB.

I've thought Rypien was a PTP for a while now so I definitely wouldn't mind him w a late 3 if we really like him.
