Jared Goff is basically an extension of Sean Mcvay on the field. He is a puppet unlike Brady who is a mini offensive coordinator on the field. Bill knew this and took advantage of it and it worked beautifully
This made me think of a comment Romo made about how the Rams were smart to break huddle at 15 seconds. Then the Pats defense could no longer receive communications from the sidelines.

That was a stupid comment. Goff is the one who *needs* those communications after lining up, not the Patriots.

Kellerman is still running his mouth. He said that Tom this year is like slightly below Eli Manning at his prime

The best season Eli Manning ever had, from a statistical perspective, was in 2015:

387-618 (62.6%), 4,432 yds, 35 td, 14 int, 7.2 y/a, 93.6 rating

And they went 6-10 that year.

Tom Brady in 2018:

375-570 (65.8%), 4,355 yds, 29 td, 11 int, 7.6 y/a, 97.7 rating

So in a "down" year, with a "declining" Brady, he still managed a better statistical season than Eli has EVER had. Oh, and in this "down" year, he thew for 953 yards in three playoff wins en route to his sixth Super Bowl title.

So Kellerman is...well...... Why are we concerned about what Max Kellerman says anyway?

I don't think it was a stupid comment at all. He just didn't anticipate the Patriots coaches being a step ahead and giving out multiple plays ahead of time for the defense to adjust to whatever the Rams were lining up for after the communication got cut off.

I can see this working against teams that are not as well coached and prepared (like the Cowboys).

Roberts is improving and brings a lot of passion and physicality to the position.

Last year I wanted him gone.

This year I am glad he is here.

He has two rings. He's doing something right.
You gotta give anyone who hits as hard as he does a chance. He can be like a missile.

I think one of the great things about the game is that, after all the talk of changing of the guard and the new NFL, this game turned out to be a grueling duel between two old masters of defense, Belichick and Phillips. This game was older than old school.

Agree.

It'll be interesting to see how much time Bentley - if healthy cuts into his playing time next year.

In the off-season, I said that he could be the next Brandon Spikes on the field against the run, except that his instinct was always wrong as he chose the wrong hole, fell for play action, etc. I called him Costanza and said whatever instinct he has, he needs to do the exact opposite.

So far so good.....

See elandon Roberts max Kellerman clown nose sign

So much for the "robot" Bill Belichick.
There was something different about Bill this year. That almost sounded like .... joy.

The NFL is going to need to re-shoot that SB commercial, so that Brady portion can include him taking off the 6th ring.

Still absolutely buzzing, got the whole game recorded to watch over and over.

Love all these salty/part-time fans all over Instagram calling it a snooze fest and worst Super Bowl ever as well, makes me laugh everytime. First of all it was a defensive masterclass (both teams) and we don’t give a f*ck if it’s boring as long as we win!!!
Worst Super Bowl ever! What a joke. It was competitive down to the last five minutes. Take you pick among the large number of Super Bowl blowouts as being the worst. Try Super Bowl XXIX, when the 49ers had a 14-0 lead over the Chargers less than 5 minutes into the first quarter.

He'll have to get the ring first! Can't wait to see the new ring ceremony. When does that happen?
