Hate that I actually agree with thisNah. I’d want them to start Etling and try to tank for #1 overall and a shot at Lawrence.

We’d have to (hypothetically) tank in 2020, not 2019. Lawrence just finished his first year. He can’t leave for two more. He’s screwing up all of our posting plans.
Sure, but it would kind of suck with Lawrence only one year away. At any rate, none of this matters because Tom isn’t going anywhere and if he were, Bill would make the necessary moves to keep a competitive team. You mean if we somehow managed to suck next season we'd have to settle for Tua or Fromm? I could live with that

Most likely scenario is garrapolo gets released when Brady plans to retire and we resign him.
Sit back and watch it roll
You know better than to start a weak thread like this.
Brady was a 6th round pick. Montana was third round. Brady is GOAT and my favorite all time athlete but anyone who thinks Belichick and the early strength of the Pars roster during Brady’s early yeRs were not yuge in Bradys growth is nuts. You know me hard for me to see us winning without TB but tell me if we could get Foles or even just trade for a highly rated back up like Jimmy was and let's see how BB can coach them up. Or just take someone in the draft now rather than waiting a year.
I get the fear of being 10-6/9-7 and missing playoffs or playing in WC round but cant waste any if the last few years of BB coaching tanking.

Parcels won with Simms. Super Bowls are win year in and year out with other QBs. TEAM is what is needed and that is Belichick. Brlichick can win with the next QB as long as he is coached up and they build a strong team.
Hes not going anywhere. He just had another vintage/legacy game and all that the usual suspects who should be eating crow right now and sucking his **** are saying is how lucky he got with the offsides and roughing the passer. If he wins next week expect more of the same. These idiots are gonna keep him hungry for years, im actually starting to believe he will play till 45.
#kentuckyscienceThey have to come up with something better than luck to explain 9 trips to the big dance.
All I am saying is you don’t need a first round QB. Great NFL TEAMS win the Super Bowl. It's impossible to know what either would have done without each other. If you took the best previous dynasty as a measuring stick you'd probably say it was the 49ers which was pre salary cap, with two different QBs, two different HC's and resulted in 5 trips to the Super Bowl. The Patriots are going to their 9th under BB and TB. That's insane. How many would it have been without one or the other is impossible to decipher.
Hey maybe Bill retires too.Uhoh here we go again I couldn't disagree with this strategy more.
BB is too good a coach to tank. Give him Cassell and he could be 11-5. Hopefully we could find someone better than Cassell right away and have a shot at a Superbowl.
