Audibles and high level football IQ with everyone being on the same page.
That little clip from the pats Steelers ACFCG a couple years ago is one of my all time favourite Brady audibles.
Pats in a run heavy I formsation set with FB and RB. Audibles by yelling “JORDAN” to a spread with 10 secs on the play clock. No one panics and they all know their role. I bet Devlin and Blount never even lined up outside once before that during the season.
Steelers go from a run heavy mean looking d front, to instant confusion having to spread out.
Brady throws a 25 yard dime up the seam to Hogan and the rest is history.
Edelman’s was better.
We keep this up, we’re winning the SB.
Julio Jones had the best catch in that game.Edelman’s was better.
Tyree’s was on 4th down and set up the game winning TD to knock off an undefeated team and was every bit as fluke and lucky as Edelman’s.
Edelman’s was also on 1st and 10 with over 2 minutes to go in the game. There’s a decent chance the Pats tie even without that catch, while the Giants certainly lose the super bowl without Tyree’s catch
Even if you want to argue that Edelman’s was more skilled, it pales in importance to a literal championship saving play. And in 50 years, we’ll still see the Tyree catch as “the” play of that game whereas Edelman’s catch will be overshadowed by White’s run in overtime
Think about the highlight the average fan associates with SB42. It wasn’t the go ahead TD. It was Tyree. Just like Butler’s INT overshadows Kearse’s grab in SB49.
It’s pure homerism to think Edelman’s was more important “given the stage”. Tyree is one of the 3 most iconic catches in history (along with The Catch and the Immaculate Reception) . A more skilled play? Sure. But that doesn’t make a catch more important or iconic
It’s important to get off to a fast start in these games. In 2013 and 2015 we were down early. If we win the toss, got to take the ball.
I think people need to understand (both Chiefs and Patriots fans) that so much has changed since that matchup for both sides. I dont think the game and how it played out is important at all.Pretty good actually. It's one of the things that gives me the most hope about this weekend if you want to know the truth. If you left that game ultra confident about coming to arrowhead because you won, then you are not a student of the game.
I think you and I are the only ones they are tolerating.
Wow. Lot's of homers here. Sorry to pee in your Cheerios What about old man Brady in sub 0 temps? We all remember that young Eli Manning beating old man Favre in Green Bay. Farve looked cold! Eli did not. How will this team overcome the homer calls by the refs?! I was there in 2006 in Denver to witness one of the worst DPI calls I have seen. The crowd made the ref. change his mind! What about the noise and pass rush. They will have that 1/2 second jump or so that defenders get at home. Who can keep up with PM when he runs? KVN can't. They will double Edleman. Single Gronk and the other receivers. No DPI called in the playoffs so expect Gronk to be held all game. They always let them play. You wait and see. This will be close like the Denver games were but the Pats will fall short once again. Please bring on the red X's.

Too bad we’ll be in the loudest opposing stadium in the league where things like this become difficult if not impossible to do.
People will be too could to cheer. KC fans ain’t used to this weather.
10-4 good buddies, just make sure to hit the decontamination chamber before heading home 20.I think you are correct. .
