That being said....Tyreek Hill has been clocked as low as 4.21 (unofficial and hand timed, IIRC).

He is gonna have to be doubled no matter what.

The media is claiming the Chiefs defense turned on the switch during the Oakland game and is now a different unit than earlier in the year...
All I remember about that game is Raiders dropping 2 picks at least.

Again, even Reid says Brady is “Arguably” the GOAT. The disrespect/disdain amongst NFL owners, coaches and league is stunning.

More fuel for the fire.

JJ is far and by far the fastest player we have in a STRAIGHT LINE.

As for the McCourtys...at least with Devin..he isn't turning his hips around when chasing down guys. It's all about the angles, IMO...much easier to chase down a WR across 1/2 the width of the field when you are 10-15 yards deep off the LOS. And as for Jason, he is usually TRAILING the guy before chasing down the guy...which suggests that he has good acceleration.

JJ has the most top end speed. 4.28/40 at the combine is no joke.... the McCourtys had 4.41 and 4.3 for Devin/Jason respectively.

The 40 is almost always about the first 10 yards, though. Devin had a bad start (1.6, finished in the 4.4s) while JJ had an exceptional 1.47 and ran an official Combine time of 4.33. If you watch them on the field, however, Devin can catch absolutely anyone over a long enough distance. I've seen him come out of the frame to run down DeSean Jackson. Despite starting 10 yards back, he almost caught up to Hill earlier this year on the long TD catch. On Devin's INT return for a TD earlier this year, he put up the fastest MPH of any player in the NFL for 2018.

I guess according to PFF Hightower and Van Noy's interceptions don't count as passes defensed.... Pro-football reference also has Van Noy with an additional pass breakup against the Jets and one against the Chargers. PFF doesn't seem to agree with them though.
Their employees are from countries like Bangladesh. Cut them some slack, they probably don't know any better.o_O

Why? Have you seen the Cardinals stadium's grass? Best in the business.

Well yeah because here in AZ they wheel it in and out. Its a sweet setup. Still, doesn’t mean KC should have it. NE was shamed into changing it out for the better. It’s not a HF advantage. It’s dangerous for all players.

I could be wrong but I don't think JJ is faster. Every time there's a huge run it's always the McCourty's with the top end speed to chase people down.
JJ ran a 4.33 at the Combine.

Better question is that "football faster" than DMC?

I don't know. Maybe DMac has more fuel in the tank since he's not running as much. But I also saw JMac with some good speed. They both seem like the fastest guys on the field to me when they're chasing people down.

The fact that they are chasing people concerns me

It’s dangerous for all players.
I'm more anxious about someone getting hurt because of a bad field than I am about winning the game.

I just hope if turf conditions lead to blown knees that the victims are on the home team.

It also doesn’t help that our RB in the 2015 Denver game was Stephen Jackson

Grass is safer than turf
