So it gets warmer in Missouri after the sun goes down? Weird.
Has more to do with the warmup coming the day after. It says its gonna be 18° as a high Sun afternoon, and the low later in the evening says 12° Sun night meaning it will level out at about 12° and then start warming up to where the high on Mon late-morning will be around 32°

i guess we're f'd? its pretty well known we dont play well in the warm weather :D

Mike Reiss is as objective as it gets. I much prefer him to homers like Tom Curran or Scott Zolak.

The only clear cut advantage is the crowd noise. That will be negated by the temperature pretty well. Less noise...Pats win easy.

Temperatures are now supposed to be in the mid-teens...up from 5F.

I don't think tempurature will matter if we get the crowd out of it early

As good as Brady and Pats are in cold weather, they are playing on the road in KC. Playing at home in similar conditions is different than playing on the road. I hope the crowd won't be as loud as they normally are and may be we can calm them down with quick scores to start the game.

Keep hoping. That crowd is going to be loud and the Pats better be prepared for that.

In my mind, this is the toughest game of the season (even if we make it to SB). SB will be played on a neutral field but this game is in a very hostile environment against a formidable opponent. Pats have a lot of prepare for.

I keep seeing references to TB12's playoff stats the past few years, after turning 35 years old. Obviously, even though we lost the SB, he lit up the Eagles. My question is, has there been a defense during that stretch they keep referencing as weak as KC's? Because you know TB12 and McDaniels are bringing the kitchen sink.

The Colts D was subpar.

2016 ATL was subpar.

I think the KC D has improved over the year.

Side note: leaving Gronk in single coverage on Sunday will come back to bite the Chiefs.

The best way to attack that defense is backs in the passing game.
Would love to gef Patterson the ball in space.
Think he could be a big factor in this game.
Give them a taste of chasing down our fastest guy. Patterson isnt near as good at running routes but he runs people over.
Also dont kick the ball to Hill im sure if Either special team does.
Bill might kill someone.

Some truth here, but you could easily argue the Pats defense has improved more. I guess the point I was making is TB12 is going to light up KC on Sunday, that's a given. So it really comes down to our defense winning some 3rd downs and making them punt a few times. If KC scores, let's say 30, Pats still win Sunday.

ATL yes, but disagree about colts

That was a hurt D that got pieces back for playoffs and they transformed during playoffs to a very good D

When pats lose it’s becauae the O can’t get it going against good defensive play not because we can’t out score someone (except in rare occasions such as eagles SB)

Of course. I was just commenting on the Chiefs' defense specifically.

I don't think its a guarantee we hang a 30 burger there. Chiefs D is much better at home than on the road.

2013 and 2014 Colts D was soft.

This is after Tom turned 35.

We will need to start out fast because the crowd can eat us alive if we are not careful. That’s what happened in 2014 when arrowhead broke a world record

I can see Kelce getting hit by HT on the line of scrimmage all game long really. I think if Hill ends up in the slot then that will happen to him as well.

I’m not sure who could be on Hill, but I’d be interested to see how JJones goes against him. I’d love us to play bump coverage on Hill. Smash him at the LOS and make it hard for him.

I’m praying BB comes up with one of his unbelievable defensive game plans for this, because the Chiefs scare me with just how quick they can score
