Who would have guessed that Flores would have a Head Coaching job before Josh McDaniels?

Ugh... brain crap. Flores isn't the Defensive Coordinator. My bad.

The moment he turned down that Colts job I think all bets on Josh's future were off.

Apparently teams still wanted him this year but not with full control.

With the way the AFCE is setting up with coach hires, BB might be tempted to extend his career a few years.

I like Flores, if he goes to the Dolphins, I have to root against him. Tough luck buddy, Miami is a great place to go and fail as a head coach.

Was Flores handling playcalling in the entirety of the preseason games or did Bill delegate it to someone else for the 4th game?

The search for the next "Sean" has become silly now.

I don't think MM is a great coach, but he is good and I am happy he is not going to be hired in our division.

Later Brian I hardly knew ye.

I hope he does not poach too many Pats coaches.

No big deal. The Patriots will name Greg Schiano defensive coordinator the day after
Flores is hired by Miami. Greg turned them down last year to remain at Ohio State.

Flores is a KEY reason that our defense is arguably a top 5 unit this year. We haven't had a Top 3 secondary in a while

Who would argue this?

I would kill to have Schiano here. I think he'd immediately be our best DC since Romeo.

I wish Flores a good time (not, luck per se as I want NE to keep dominating the AFCE). He seems like a decent person who has worked hard.

That Ohio State defense was truly pathetic at times this season. Brian Flores' season this year has been the best in the last few years

Like I said elsewhere ...
Belichick can take DC duties for a year if need be.

Who is better than that?
As for Flores ... take the gig ... why not.

For me it's just that over the course of his career I have liked what I've seen from Schiano-coached defenses. It could be a grass is greener sort of thing or maybe he was really lucky with the players he had (Didn't he have that guy who wore red eye contacts + Suh?)
