Bowl game discussion: Alabama vs Clemson, National Championship

LOL @ the Miss State receiver there . . . that's some poor handling of the ball.

Also, if Hockenson declares, we need to draft him. Perfect Gronk replacement.

The dropoff from Milton to Mack is enormous. Nice try, but I don't think UCF can overcome it.
That was one hell of a throw at the half though. UCF needs to commit to the run in the second half and the play action will be lethal against that depleted backfield.

(A) Agreed on Hockenson.
(B) Just how many "prototype Patriots slot WRs" are there this year?

I heard that comment about Easley. Pretty funny.

Also, why in the world is Hill back in the game after collapsing on the sidelines?

We should draft Fitzgerald in the 7th round and turn him into a wide receiver.

Fitzgerald with a JEST-like lack of awareness there. . . . he wanted to spike it on fourth down.

Yes. The Gators destroyed Harbawl and his weasels; and the HaekeHaw defeated Miss State.

Great Winter Classic ... Bruins win ... back to football.

Semi-serious suggestion: if measures to conserve time can lead to 10-second runoffs, why can't DOG penalties lead to 10-second add-ons?

I know Dexter gets all the hype & he's a good player but likely overdrafted. Rashard is the other Lawrence to know & just as good rn imo.

I see a ton of equating size w "2 gapping" lately. Its the silliest thing Ive heard in a long time.

Lawrence handled himself just fine taking on doubles & has a tremendous get off & violent hands. That's how win at the los in 2019.

Not by holding or losing ground while the play is flowing 5 yards away from you.

This is the best I’ve seen Ohio states run blocking look all year. That’s 5 long gains on this drive

He really stood out this game for sure.
He's been a bit up/down but put together a really good year. Again I think he fit what you want nowadays.

Idk if I'm taking anyone over 320 in the 1st he has to be special, no?

I’m not touching this one, but let’s just say that I can appreciate your argument.

Was really hoping LSU would beat UCF by a lot more. Will have to wait til next year for UCF to be exposed. Struggles against a weak schedule this year, I can see the dropping 2 next year easily

Why do you think he would make a good WR?

While he stinks as a qb, you can see from his running that he is ubber athletic. I think he will run well and his abilities would translate well to the wide receiver position.

The lsu DT Lawrence is a pure one Gapper. He is great trying to shoot a gap, not much on controlling both sides of the gap.

If we drafted him, he would need at least a red shirt year to learn gap control.

DT Brown from auburn on the other hand, he can do both and might be a better fit for us.
