Devils advocate - He’s had a worse FG% and more missed XPs in Indy than Ghost has had here. And he kicks mostly in a dome and has spent several years with zero pressure on any of his kicks because Indy has intermittently been trash.

As many others do I often wonder if having him changes 42 because maybe they have the confidence in the FG instead of going for it, but it all happened. Anyway point being he is not nearly under the same kind of microscope many here put Ghost under the last 13 years. If he was, he’d be getting killed just like SG does every time he misses.

Apparently at Heinz field, they had the shirts and hats on the field ready to celebrate an AFC north title and watched the ravens pick off mayfield in the end and had to get rid of them

Pats weren’t paying the $10M and 4.5M up front IIRC that AV got from the Colts at the time and I think Ghost cost 1/10th of that.

AV also had a poor game in Denver in the Pats playoff exit. The dome extended his career and I don’t blame him for taking an opportunity to do that.
