TE Ben Watson retiring at the end of the season.

He should run for political office.

I still find it strange he didn't play longer here.
If I recall correctly, he got Gronked. I seem to remember some frustration with him in having "hands of stone" but obviously he is a good player who managed to stick around a long time.

Reactions: SNL
He helped us win a superbowl, and was a great fit with the team. Should've had a few more years here.

He got 3/$12m from CLE which was more than they wanted to spend. No hard feelings on either side.

Watson: No hard feelings, no regrets

He went to IR in 04 after the 1st game. Didn't help them per se.

Another great South Carolina product. Has the highest Wonderlic score of all-time - tied with the Harvard QB Fitzgerald

Here’s a mini documentary about that play.

Should have been a touchback!

This should be required viewing for pats fans at least once a year.

Great clip. Couple things:

--It says "Tackle saving touchdown," I think they've got that mixed up.

--Did that ref slow him down a step?

--Yep, should have been a touchback. And if that play HAD been a touchback and the Pats had ended up winning? Legendary.

The guy was a solid player for the Pats but will never get his due because he played between Ben Coates and Rob Gronkowski.

Another Pats board gave him the moniker "Pizza Paddles"

Graham had hands of stone. Watson was "looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane." Had the athleticism to play a long career without having to fight for balls too much.

Fun fact: remember all those photos from Patriots victories past that Belichick took down a few years ago? IIRC, this was the only photo from a loss.
