Well, we won (if we’re forgetting). We won’t be 12-4 or better, the offense looks less impressive than prior years, but the run game looked flat out dominant today, the defense did very well, and we won the division. Best case we go 11-5, most likely a 2 seed, but we hopefully get a bye. Definitely a down year by our standards, but this ENTIRE YEAR has been a work in progress and we’re still in the playoffs - let me know how many other teams pull off this seeding and could manage a playoff push without an identity or any real continuity all season.

Brady’s having an average season, he’s 41 years old, and I still trust him... as pissed off as he and this offense have made me this year. If he plays today like he does for a large sample size next year, then I think we have a real issue, but I’m not freaking out over a subpar game that de-emphasized the pass game in exchange for an EXCELLENT run game. Lots of **** going on with this offense this year to pin so much on him, and IMO, McDaniels isn’t calling many great game plans this year, with some downright mystifying play calls here and there.

Just won a division, current #2 seed, let’s step back off the ledge. It’s cool to criticize and have concerns, but the brady bashing crusade is asinine. Have faith they’ll pull it together; or else injuries and etc are too much to overcome this year and it’s not our year, we’ll see.

Brady having an injury IS speculation. FFS, learn to read..

One more time. You're talking out your rear end again. I'm not the naive one here. YOU are for believing that the Patriots don't know if Brady has a knee injury.

BTW, you should really educate yourself on why Belichick put Brady on the Injury report the way he did. It was because Brady wasn't taking 100% of the snaps in practice. Why wasn't he taking 100% of the snaps? Because the other QBs were taking them. And Brady's shoulder was the last injury he had.

But, yeah, you keep spouting off that the Pats don't officially know about a Brady injury and are playing dumb about it.. And you have the audacity to call me naive?

Yes, you are naive if you don't think the organization has a history of covering up injuries. We know that in '10 Brady played through broken ribs and a broken index finger. Was that ever "officially" disclosed? Of course not.

Brady does have an injured knee that has affected his performance, his accuracy and has led him to throw away many more balls than he ever has. There is speculation that he may have hurt his MCL or that it may be a partial tear. He's just not stepping into his throws unless he absolutely has to.

I posted the tweets of two people who attended the game, both have said they saw him unable to run the full length of the field. I don't see any reason why their observations should be dismissed.

LOL, Joker, you never disappoint!

Did you see the Army bowl game yesterday? Army's pathetic QB threw only 3 passes all game long! Sure, they did rush for over 500 yards and won 70-14, but what a pathetic offense! At least that would be the opinion of many here, if it were an Army message board.

Hopkins CAN throw actually. Tremendous kid.

The fact that Brady was out of the game with 7 minutes left, when it was clear that all the Pats were going to do was run the ball, leads me to think that he is hurt. Hopefully, following a beat down of the Jets, a week off and he will be ready to go.

The defense as been fantastic the last two weeks.

The Texans loss to the Eagles was huge for us. We need the wild card bye and and a divisional game at home.

Without a doubt this team has issues. The defense is constantly up and down and the passing offense is not very effective. We need that to improve that significantly or we are going down in the post season.

Edelman hasn't entirely been himself and Gronk certainly lost much of his effectiveness. Hogan, Dorset need to step it up. And Brady's got to eliminate some of the mental errors he is making.

But making it to the AFCCG is more than possible now.

That’s because no one is dominant and every team has issues.

It's not speculation. He was at the game, were you?

Until he appears on an injury report or we hear something official this is by definition speculation. And at this point this is nothing but a headline-clicky rumors started by Giardi based on a couple of plays he saw and his gut feeling of why the offense is struggling.

The way that people tend to turn completely speculative pieces into gospel over time is pretty annoying.

Brady's cracked ribs and broken finger never made it onto the injury report, so why would his knee?

His knee is absolutely and definitely hurt. The speculation is that it is a MCL issue.

We'll likely find out in the offseason if not during the playoffs.

My entire point is that all of this is speculation. If there was anything obvious in his movement we would have been hammered by the countless Twitter docs about it already.

And again the MCL thing was raised half-assed by Giardi. He didn't even have the balls to call it an MCL tear but weaseled out by saying it is "partial" which could mean anything.

He might very well be injured but can we please not call something a fact or a certainty when it literally is not because all we hear is talk radio level speculation ?

The MCL injury is what is being speculated.

That Brady has a knee injury is not speculation, it's pretty obvious.

I don't care how obvious anything is to you. As long as he or the team doesn't acknowledge it remains SPECULATION. That is what the word means.

There is a huge gulf between obviously and definitely.

Another gem to the people who want McDaniels gone. Brilliant design, easy manipulated coverage and an ever easier completion against one of the best pass defending units in the league.

When was the last time BB pulled Brady with SIX minutes left in a meaningful game that was far from a blowout?

Sorry, but it's not speculation.

I'm with you. No question his knee is dinged up. The only speculation is the nature of the knee injury. Fauria said it's more likely a meniscus than MCL. No one knows...

Let's hope some rest is the cure.

There was a play when White was running across the middle and Brady missed him w a terrible throw. Replay camera showed a distraught Brady (hopefully with himself) jumping up and down 4, 5, 6 times after he threw as if he was anticipating a big play and was hoping to celebrate...now, "if" he's injured why would he risk further injury by jumping up and down like he did?
My guess is he's not really injured and someone in Brady's camp leaked a fabrication to Giardi, who like most media scum took the bait, to deflect from Brady's poor play...

Ugly

Didn’t inspire any confidence for the post season

Defense played very well. Offense is MIA

273 rushing yards is “ MIA?”

They were playing against the best passing defense in football so they ran all over them, that’s executing a good game plan imo, and if they continue to run effectively it’s going to give Brady all kinds of opportunities off of play action. The defense is playing well and they are running effectively, that’s exactly what they need headinto the playoffs. Even with his injury Brady is the last player I worry about.
