I keep hearing about cap hell for teams but it never seems to show itself.

Saints were there years back but bounced back quickly. All it takes is good drafting. No ones been better than the saints recently.

We can’t score more than 10 against the Steelers yet the browns can score 17 against the broncos. That’s sad. The way we’re playing we’d lose to Cleveland

Well then, I'm glad they aren't in the playoffs.

Is he wrong to think that way? The Pats have the potential to get there but haven't put a complete game together yet.

Their best game was vs Vikings at home. They will need that type of performance on the road to get to the SB and they haven't shown they are capable of it yet this season.
The Pats have not played well on the road, but they have plenty of players who have done so - a lot. Play better, and winning on the road will take care of itself. The key on offense is to find ways to score in the red zone. That has to improve.

Oh I agree. If they can put together close to a complete game on the road they could beat anyone but they haven't shown that they can yet.

If Edelman doesn’t drop those passes, if Gordon doesn’t drop that pass..if Trent Brown doesn’t hold, if everyone doesn’t freaking false start, we’re probably not having this Brady decline talk. But since we are- His decision making has been off this year- definitely more “wtf was that” moments than he’s ever given us before. I wouldn’t say it’s a physical decline- many of his passes are still absolute dimes, but it’s not the level of excellence we’re used to. I don’t have an explanation for it, but that’s what I’m seeing. Obviously, the Offense as a whole needs to play better, because we can’t depend on Brady to bail everyone out anymore. Recievers have to hang on to the ball, blockers have to block, can’t have idiotic penalties.
On the other hand- Colts shut out the Cowboys today, and Cowboys beat the Saints just a game or two ago. Any given freaking Sunday.

Apparently any given Sunday applies to every team but us.

I keep coming back to us being healthy as a positive. IF we can win the next 2 weeks AND stay healthy, it will be a big help.

To those of you blaming the defense, I'd love to hear an honest answer to the following question:
"If you were told Friday that NE would hold PIT to 17 points, what would you have said NE's chances of winning the game were?"

Yeah, the team hasn't played many complete games, but the defense played better than I thought they would overall.
