There is an outside chance that KC loses to both San Diego and Seattle, and if we win out then we would have the tie breaker over them. But this team doesn't deserve the 1 seed, not after the effort they showed today.

At least Houston lost too.

Obviously that ending is ridiculous, but I don't get how this team can be so great at home, and so awful on the road? It doesn't make any sense.

They were not awful today. That was a great football game.

The loss sucked but it's a regular season game in MIA.

Think I’m at peace with the fact that every one was to blame today. Really not our best football.

But losing like THAT. That is a hard pill to swallow.

Theres also that tiny fact that the patriots had 4 timeouts and 2 minutes and DIDNT GO INTO THEIR TWO MINUTE DRILL.

For the second week in a row the Pat's wete intent on going to the locker room without points and limiting their exposed on defense.

Through sheer stupidity from Miami we got the ball back having not deserves it.

It feels like 2009 and 2013. Just don’t feel like they honestly can win it all. Defense is a huge Achilles and clearly special teams can’t get it done.

We couldn’t rush on one of the worst rush Defenses in football.

At least the 2013 team had mental toughness and fight in them. This team just craps the bed every second road game, losing badly to teams they are on paper significantly superior to (especially Detroit and Miami).

Yeah, the truth is somewhere in the middle. The Pats are solidly a second-tier team right now. It's disappointing if you came into the season with Super Bowl aspirations and the worst team we've fielded in 5+ years, but they're at worst maybe the 6th best team in the league.

I do get the disappointment, though. This is the first time in a long time that we've been this late in the season and I haven't felt we were one of the two best teams in the AFC

Jesus, it’s Gost, not Ghost. Huge villain today, for sure, but the 3 (really 7 if he doesn’t miss a wide open Hogan) points puked away at the end of first half by Brady was just a big. Instead of turtling, throw it out of the end zone and that last play doesn’t matter.

Having said that, that last play I was so pathetic I still can’t believe that it happened. Gordon needs to be in that position for Gronk.

Gronk can barely make a play on offense never mind jump ball Hail Mary.....yet another blunderous call by BB and entire coaching staff

Pittsburgh is going to destroy this team next week. The locker room is going to be demoralized after this one. The team isn’t mentally tough, no way they bounce back.

They lost an important game to a less talented team. They did not play up to their capabilities. For me, that's the frustration.

Seasons have ebbs and flows.

Pats are out when they are out.

Yes. That's the grass is greener in the eyes or defeat approach.

But last I checked, 12 wins isn't the goal and last I checked, the Pat's have never even reached the superbowl in brady era without the bye.

Ball at the Miami 5 yard line, up 2 points, 1:50'ish on the clock, and Miami with 1 TO remaining.

Only today's Patriots could've found a way to lose that game, and they did.

Didn't even look like Michel/White were running hard at the goal-line. Team figured they had it won and didn't want to make a mistake.

Again, a deserving loss. Be a shame if this game ultimately costs them the #2 seed, pending the Pittsburgh game and how Houston finishes the season.
