Play calling was awful outside the 1st drive. Took forever to finally target Gordon (2 minutes left in the 3rd Q). It's been painful to watch for most of the year. I have no idea what's going on in Josh's mind for 75% of the drives this season.

At least the defense looked good today.
Patterson had more receiving yards than Edelman and Gronk combined. Going to JE and Gronk was 6 receptions on 12 targets (int). Gordon, Patterson and Hogan were 7/7. This lack of reliability of JE and Gronk is not unique to this game either. Not sure why they keep banging their heads on that wall.

No
I assume the screen-heavy play calling was designed to slow down the pass rush. But seemed to go to the White well a few too many times.

Two holding penalties for the best blocking tight end in football. Plus a false start if I recall correctly.
He's pretty clearly injured and hasn't yet quite adapted his playing style to his new physical limitations.

He holds like that all the time. Two fisted, inside the shoulder pads. Pretty normal when you're blocking downfield as well.

Seems like @QuantumMechanic has my profile set as his home page.

This guy turns on his computer and starts clicking 'disagree' on every post I make. Not once does he even reply to talk about what he disagrees with - which is the entire purpose of a forum.

Sad life.

Very pleased with what I saw on defense tonight. It was their most complete game, so far this year.

I still think they can get better. I'm liking Jackson as #2 CB. J-Mac is more experienced, but Jackson is much more of a playmaker.

There's a world of difference between "I didn't agree with a few calls, and I thought one or two were really bad ideas" and "Play calling was awful outside the 1st drive.".

If you'd said that you hated the play call on the INT and thought it was a terrible idea under the circumstances, for example, I'd have been with you. But that was mostly a brilliantly called game by McDaniels/Brady.

I get those drive by “disagrees” by him as well without any explanation. But sometimes I’m lucky to get an “agree” from him.

@QuantumMechanic gave me a “disagree”. What a d**k Lol.

He gives disagrees to those he disagrees with. It's not a difficult concept and it has no effect on your final score.

When @TBR says something worth commenting on, I’ll expend energy elaborating on a disagree. I won’t be holding my breath, though.

Also, if someone else already said what I would have said, I don’t see any reason to repeat it just to hear myself talk.

Great win, far from perfect of course but maybe they’re saving it for Pittsburgh and the playoffs :)

Defense was on point today and were the strength of this victory. Best tackling I’ve seen from them this year. Great push and pressures. Couple nice picks.

Offense fell asleep for a little and for some crazy reason didn’t involve Gordon till late in the 3rd, but showed some good overall. Encouraged by 160 yards rushing on a strong front. when the ol, Groningen, Michel, and Burke are healthy our run game is solid and it seems for once Brady won’t have to carry the whole team on his back for once in January.

Nice to finally see some life on pr even though one was called back. Patterson had a couple good kr, st overall was much better aside from ghost a crucial miss and kr coverage still shaky. At this point you gotta figure it’s not gonna turn around and we gotta just start booting touchbacks. Speaking of Patterson I hope we can come to a long term agreement , he seems to get better and better each week and contribute in more ways.

Somewhat concerned over all the holding penalties the last couple weeks, not sure what the deal is other than going against a hochuli last week, but it continued today.

Not sure what to make of Miami next week, history shows itt to be a tough one but my gut tells me the Pittsburgh game is the only one left with any real danger of losing.

Quantum will disagree AND agree.

I have thousands of agrees and hundreds of disagrees from him. He's consistent

So what?
