Why? The Dolphins are still in the AFC East picture.

The Fins aren't in it anymore now that they lost, but they wouldn't be if they were two games back either. I always root against the Indiots and Ratbirds.

You are assuming that the Patriots go 3-2 the rest of the way. 2008 says hi.
So you think it makes no difference that our QB that year was Matt Cassel and this year it's someone slightly better than that?

OMG. The 2004 NY Yankees up 3-0 in the 2004 ALCS say hi.

No. I assume nothing, especially with a 41-year-old QB who was on today's injury report as questionable with a knee injury who is backed up by Brian Hoyer.

You said that the Dolphins are not legitimate contenders. They are contenders until they are mathematically eliminated. I don't care what adjective you put in front of the word "contenders."
You really think the Fins are SB contenders even if the math says they are?

I was very happy to see Brady spreading the ball around. Every time Hogan caught the ball I said “he’s been open for weeks!”

Bodes well for the future.

Then Miami sucks!

I rewatched the game and I’m not seeing how anyone can say we have no running game???

Are we watching the same game? Sony had a grip of yards

Brady lost another yard at the end of the game. Down to 995 for his career.

What we are seeing here is the modern version of Zeno's paradox. Each season that Brady plays, he draws closer to 1,000 rushing yards, yet he is never able to reach the number.

Yeah, umm, he’s 41.

I didn’t see much wrong with brady today. Got the win and yes, it was not the most majestic win I ever saw. But come on man, had to play in New Jersey ?? Is anything there ever beautiful? If so, name what it was because all I ever seen there was never anything even slightly good. We’re also playing an entire team of first round picks

A win is a win but it wasn’t exactly inspiring. Defense played well after a ****ty opening quarter. Offense played well in the second half. But the team still has not put together a complete 4 quarters on both sides of the ball which is concerning with us staring down December. I honestly don’t think this is a contender in the least. At least not with what we’ve seen so far. I’d love for them to prove me wrong in a month, though.
Have to agree. A lackluster performance against a bad team does not bode well for the playoffs. Next week will tell us about their mental toughness and desire to go back to the bowl.
The offensive inconsistency is troubling especially in the red zone.

The Dolphins are in contention for the AFC East. You are what your record says you are.
That’s often times not the case lol. Teams underachieve/overachieve. Dolphins are not a strong 5-6.

Dolphins have never been good before, they are not good now and are sure to be horrible forever
