lewis is special
sony is a jag
Agree with first part....no question BB is punching himself in the balls for letting Lewis go.....Michel is an amazing talent running behind a POS offensive line....and can he stay healthy?! Very questionable

This team also needs its WRs to be on the same damn page as the QB.

  • Gordon cost the team a timeout because he didn't know where to line up
  • Hogan got aired out by Brady for not reading a come back
  • Edelman basically got plunked in the head because he misread either a route or an adjustment

That sort of **** needs to stop.
Is Tom not culpable here?

They have flaws for sure but I don't see them in as bad of shape as you are projecting.
I've been off and on with my stance on a certain matter this season and I feel like now is a perfect time to double down. After the loss, 34-10 didn't enter my mind. I've seen so much success that I'd be fine with a 10-6 season. With that being said, what stood out to me was the play where Brady caught a pass, but tripped before reaching the first down. Its almost like poetry on display. Hes 41 and can no longer carry his team to victory on his own. He couldn't secure that 1st down to keep any hope alive. I personally believe the erosion of Tom Brady's play has begun this season. I am thrilled with 7-3. I love this team. This is not a reaction from losing this game. I just feel like he is closing in on no longer being Tom Brady. He can still win. He can still play well. His erosion is in the early stages.

And I'm shocked the post game show canned that open-mouthed, heavy breathing blob of goo Charlie Weis.
What a terrible post -- about as bad as your avatar. Weis was a good addition to the show. Some of his Patriots-related anecdotes were very insightful (and fun).

For those pointing to the loss of Gronk, please view what the Titans had as their starting TE. And the weapons they had on their offense. Our offensive skill positions, even on a day when Gronk and Mason were out, were more talented than Tennessee - but didn't perform.

What’s alarming is they didn’t even show up. Right from the opening kickoff it was a sh*t show.

On O

- our line was a complete mess. It all started there. No time at all for Brady

- some bad drops. Gordon and Hollister both with drive stalling drops

- can the equipment guy give them the right cleats? Joke that a pro team can’t wear the right shoes

On D

- no pressure and bad coverage. Not a good combo

- once again we make a very average QB look like an All Pro.

- one of the worst O’s in the league went up and down the field on us all day. That was an embarrassing performance

On ST

- brutal start giving up a big return.

- big miss from Ghost on a tough but makeable kick
Well said

He pissed because he wanted to get paid by the team he busted his ass for. I get it.

Both Burk and White are in the top 25 highest paid RBs. He's not informed.

The problem is when it comes to paying players in certain positions , his expectations did not align with this organization's philosophy.

If his agent had a brain he would have told him that.

I'd agree with this post if they hadn't gone and spent arguably the most valuable asset available, a 1st round draft pick, on a running back. And again that's not a critique of Michel as a player, but I would certainly feel slighted if they were unwilling to pay me what was in truth a pretty reasonable contract for a top-fligjt starting back (which I think we can all agree is a fitting description for Lewis) yet were willing to use a 1st rounder on a running back.

This. All of this. And thank you for pointing out the cleats issue, I was noticing that throughout. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen our guys slip and trip so much as they did today.
Bad job by locker room staff or whoever controls that....had to have something else footwear wise to go with second half.....didn’t see Tenn players slipping at all

I don’t think it’s any kind of hot take to say that last year‘s MVP is almost certainly Brady’s last. So yeah, I think his peak is now behind him. I also think this team wins another Super Bowl with him.

Those things are independent from whatever is up with Brady. The offense has only really been in sync on individual series' this season.

This team has a bye week, and then faces the Jets. That should be, effectively, 3 weeks that are not necessarily off, but allow for the team to focus on what's needed in general rather than really honing in on one game specific plan. And the team needs to really take advantage of that time to deal with its issues, because the Vikings follow the Jets, and then it's two road games (Miami, Pitt).

McCourty the safety at 13 million, Hightower at 6+ million, Brown, and Shelton. Forum posters will go crazy but Allen also has to go. Without Gronk he doesn't even offer a threat in the passing game to defend. I don't care how well he blocks.
Allen is JAB....(just a Blocker) period....he is absolute SH!t when it comes to catching or doing anything offensively....so it’s laughable when he and pudding hands Hollister are your go to guys atvTE when Gronk is out...and yes....I think Gronk is done after this year ....with BB and Brady

Lewis had 20 carries for 57 yards lowering his season 3.7 yac and had 2 catches for 11.
