Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 9 Packers @ Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Let's just get to the game already instead of all this hype

I just saw a commercial hyping up the Patriots/Packers game and they used an in-game audio clip of Collinsworth saying "He's got my MVP vote..." while showing Rodgers highlights, while in reality, I'm quite positive he was referencing Brady in its original context. Collinsworth has stated earlier this year that Brady got his MVP vote for the last 4-5 years in a row.
"Look me in my eye, Tom".. **** Collinsworthless

When you remember a 1-15 campaign...and a couple 2-14s...just competitive is bliss.

I remember them if it matters rob... don't tell me you wasn't surprised that this Team didn't make a move at the deadline. We are not talking about the 85 Bears here.

Unless they see each other in a super bowl this will be the last time they see each other. Lets enjoy this one!

But in the 2nd round...he wasn’t a top 10/20 pick that would have required moving mountains to acquire (I.e. “I wish we’d drafted Todd Gurley”). But I also don’t think they would have taken him at the forfeited pick or anything.

But hell even if they had taken him NE would turn him into Chad Jackson and the board would blame him for not picking up the offense and being another immature bum BB blew a pick on

Thomas had a private workout with the Pats, so there was some pre-draft interest Maybe if the Pats don't have the 1st round pick stolen they use it on him. At the point Pats didn't have a 4th, so it would have meant trading #60 and #90. They only got the 4th when Saints traded with them when they were on the clock. So maybe they did like Thomas, thought maybe he would slide down closer to #60

And it's not a case of "doesn't matter Pats didn't take a WR in that draft" because they did take Mitchell, who was the 4th WR to get taken after Thomas did

White once again is going to be featured a lot with a bonafide running game .

NBC sucking Rodgers off quite thoroughly already. Got some guy claiming he's the "greatest he's ever seen" and Florio citing the myth of Rodgers' comeback ability.

God I hope this is a Patriots blowout.

Looking forward to everyone losing their minds!!!?! Nothing like a game day thread,!

not going to be following this, this week just wanted to say good luck every body. remember its just a game.

I hope this run last a few more years but won't mind one bit when it ends. We have way too many BB, Brady fans & not enough New England Patriot fans.
That's pretty accurate now.

GB is a lot healthier than the Pats right now. The most important player they're missing is a guard, correct?

Surprised? Not really because this team has surprised me so much it's commonplace. Surprise has become the norm.

The 85 Bears would be eviscerated in today's game. It's a different game now.

Unless they see each other in a super bowl this will be the last time they see each other. Lets enjoy this one!

Brady's playing until he's 45, he'll be 45 in 2022 which is their next match up which would be Brady's last season potentially.

Just made it home for the game.
I am concerned about Gronk and Michel being out and Edelman playing but at about 80% because of injury.
My thoughts it will be difficult for Brady.

Go Pats
