For RB depth, maybe the Raiders release Lynch from IR later in the season.

man donuts don't have expiration days. Donuts are made, and then the very same day they are eaten. there is no month long period where a donut is not consumed.
It was a joke. Relax yourself

Can’t believe there isn’t some down on his luck LBer thta can run. Like Ayers in ‘14.

edit: Fake news. Never mind.

Well that was a bummer, wasn't expecting any big activity but had hope we might add some defensive help/depth.

Schefter announced the Jimmy trade at 5:17PM last year. There's always a chance we could hear about something beyond 4PM.

True. Also, IIRC wasn’t the Isaac Sopoaga trade in 2013 a tad bit after 4pm as well?

Landon Collins for a 2nd and the ability to work out a deal seems fairly good! Ah well! In BB we trust

That would have been a significant overpay

Rams better hope they win this year or next year. Lots of draft capital spent the past two years on trades and their salary cap situation is pretty dire, especially with Goff needing a new contract in a couple years.

That would have been a significant overpay

Would it though.

He’s having a good year, and has been elite for the past two seasons grading out both #1 (16) and #2 (2017) and on pace to finish top 5 again this year.

It would be overpay if you couldn’t extend him, but even then it’s almost certain you’d get a 3rd back for him in 2020

"Now, let's all get a snack"!

Look at the Houston Rockets offering 4 first round picks for Jimmy Butler.

Sports franchises seem to focus much more on winning immediately than they used to. Reflects upon the society we live in today in general.

4 first round picks in the late 20s is an offer only fools at espn would hype

The Rams will go as far as Gurkey takes them. He’s by far their most impactful player. If Gurley dominates, Goff can pick you apart when you focus on stopping the run. If you stop Gurley and make Goff beat you, the Rams are very vulnerable and beatable. That’s what the Falcons did last playoffs and completely dominted them. Their secondary is a big weakness.

Yes, it would have been a significant overpay.

You don't give up a 2nd for the 8 week rental of a player who would be a depth safety (You're not benching Chung), and who struggles with coverage.

And I don't know what you're using for rankings, but if it's PFF, you really need to try finding a site that doesn't suck ass.

Ugh. I knew doing nothing was most likely but held out hope Pats might improve what is obviously not a roster good enough to win a SB this year.
