4) involved in grievous on the field head hunt (or anything close to the other 3 above).

Let's not start cheering for injuries. It is bad form. So what if he juiced up? Most of the NFL juices up.

A very interesting early game. Before the year started this could be argued to be a super bowl preview. Now it is a game in which the season for one of these teams pretty much comes to an end.

One of the Eagles or Jags will drop to 3-5. That is pretty much impossible to come back from.

More proof that Patriots aside the NFL stands for Not For Long.

I don’t think 3-5 for the Eagles is a season ender, that division sucks.

I look at it this way. If you start 3-5 you need to go 6-2 the rest of the way just to make 9-7. Usually that won't get you in. Assuming you can even go 6-2 which is very hard unless you are a powerhouse top team, which at this point you have proven you likely aren't.

Maybe 9-7 could get them in with tie breakers. Maybe. But that is assuming they can go 6-2 at all and can win the 'right' 6 games.

They would need to go 6-2 while also beating the Skins 2 times and Dallas 2 times just to avoid any messy tie breakers that would boot them out. No, it isn't 100% over but it is the same as going 0-2 early in the year IMO. Probability hangs your ass out to dry.

I don't wish injury on many players.
Just the ones who blatantly want to injure other players.

But I wont be shedding a single tear for Lame Johnson.
