To me this looks like Pats D was the most consistent unit of the complementary football making up for ST and O blunders as well as they could under circumstances.

Can you elaborate a bit? You’re suggesting that they haven’t been strategizing almost halfway into the season? When they start to strategize on defense, I bet they'll actually be good.
I stopped buying into Deus' "wisdom" after I realized how ignorant that poster can be. I usually skip over the posts because reading them is beneath me.Previous games 70.2% completion rate.
Against Pats 52% completion rate. Pressured all game long..
But yeah. He was crap regardless of pressure.
More Deus "wisdom" because he's always right and never wrong.
If his argument is that Trubisky made some poor throws and had some mental errors without pressure, then he’s probably correct. The pressure technique was an effective one, but Trubisky wasn’t as good as I expected him to be when he had time, either.I stopped buying into Deus' "wisdom" after I realized how ignorant that poster can be. Trubisky was trash when passing the ball. While there was pressure on him throughout the game, a good QB should be able to deliver a semi-accurate ball to open receivers. If his argument is that Trubisky made some poor throws and had some mental errors without pressure, then he’s probably correct. Yeah, it was actually 9 TDs in the last two games, and both of those games had completion rates over 70% and yardage over 300, with rushing totals of 53 and 47.Funny thing is he has been pretty good the last few games. 9 tds I believe, didn’t see anything today besides his running ability to believe he was as good as his last 3 games.
I really want to believe it was a story of the Pats impacting Trubisky. Some of it may have been, but it felt like he just wasn't hitting on throws he should have been.Funny thing is he has been pretty good the last few games. 9 tds I believe, didn’t see anything today besides his running ability to believe he was as good as his last 3 games.
This is some next level homer mental gymnastics.
I'm amazed at the excuses people have for this defense. It's incredible.
That is an absolutely valid point, just like you should not credit the offense for the two special team scores.
Shout out to James White for continuing to kill it out there. He is also running the ball better than he ever has in addition to his stellar receiving game.
You could argue that he is currently the most indispensable offensive weapon on this team. This season the offense has run through him
If I'm an opposing defense, I focus of stifling that connection and take away the easy first downs.
the playbook on NYJFL network/nfl.com highlighted Tribusky not projecting the open man and making the wrong read and throw. He did the same thing a few times in this game.Funny thing is he has been pretty good the last few games. 9 tds I believe, didn’t see anything today besides his running ability to believe he was as good as his last 3 games.
A good chunk of what was happening out there when Pats were on D felt similar to the Jaguars game. Difference being, Trubisky couldn’t hit the throws that Bortles did, and the pressure today seemed to be a bit more consistent in pushing him out of the pocket.
Josh Gordon 10/21: On the win over the Bears
Last question in the video. Josh Gordon says "...I wanted to grab it, he wanted to grab it..." So he wasn't trying to knock it down then?
It's cool, I don't really care. Just posted it as info since some people on here were debating it.I haven't re watched it but it looked like he was trying to catch it. It also looked like he had a 48 inch vertical leap. haha
