Cooks had a whole offseason, but he produced right from the gate. Granted, he improved over the course of the first few games, but as far as receivers go, he seemed to get on the same page pretty quickly. Brandon Llyod was somewhat unremarkable, but he is another receiver who seemed to hit the ground running and progress fairly quicklyHas a WR picked up our offense and gained Bradys trust as quick as Gordon has. That should tell us something right there
Jabar Gaffney is the most obvious choice for an in-season acquisition though, and even then, it took him about 10 games until he hit the postseason, where he really began to produce. After a decent first two playoff games he pretty much fell off. Cassel used him a bit in ‘08 near the end of the season but that was it.
