The “star TE“ of pre week 6 hype had 5 rec. on 9 tgts for 61 yds. Mostly “quiet“ yards.
The “2nd best TE in the league“ had 3 rec on 4 tgts for 97 yds. All game breaking.

None of the two caught for a TD . but Gronk as per usual offered a key block to create TD:

The case should be long rested. The case should never be brought up.
But it will be soon enough..

What the hell does Gronk thing he's doing there? Develin has nobody to block now. Gronk needs to take a few lessons from the best tight end in the league, Kelce.

In other news, I think the NYJFL* should start considering concussion protocol for non-players around the game as well. Rodney is the motivating factor of this suggestion. o_O

Kelce blocks?

They should change his position for FF purposes to wide receiver.

One getting mauled and shows up in the clutch and creates big holes in the run game. The other one not so much.

I had told folks to put down the pipe

Um, Kelce is a pretty darn good player. Give credit where it's due.
He's a great receiving tight end but if we traded Gronk for him we would have lost. Sony Michelle would have only had 50 yards and maybe 1 touchdown.

The hack a shaq of Rob Gronkowski continues. The nfl should be ashamed for allowing it to happen on just about every play. Gronk is still that 6’0 160 pound 12 year old playing in pee wee’s that all the parents complain about.

Kelce is the second best TE in the league. He just is no Gronk.

And most TEs are either good at receiving or blocking, not both. Gronk is the exception to the rule.

It's crazy how this happens every game yet the fully accepted narrative is that the complete opposite happens every game.

Actually the TE “rule“ is that you can play @ LOS (block in run game + chip in PP) and receive..
