If only he was big enough to be a guard...

Pats' WRs are excellent blockers.

And then there's Gronk blowing up DEs, which often results in taking out TWO rushers when Gronk more or less throws the DE into the next DL over, knocking him down, too. Kinda like Gronk's version of bowling.

Add in Gordon apparently not only be willing but aware enough to block and block with apparent proper technique..thats a huge added asset.

The School Zone speed limit in Maine is 15 mph. In New Hampshire it's 35 mph. That's why New Hampshire schoolkids constantly beat the crap out of Maine schoolkids in track-and-field.
As someone who moved from MA to NH, I can attest that "Live Free or Die" is a real thang. Did you ever see the video below? Hysterical!

Fun stat I just read on NFL.com:

Since 2013, the Patriots are 46-9 when Edelman is in the lineup and 19-10 without him.

(Pardon if somebody already posted)

Hadn't seen that before! Thank you!

I'm still waiting for Edelman to be officially removed from the Suspended list. We've not heard that nor have we heard a corresponding move.

He will be activated tomorrow afternoon. I do not expect Gronk to play, but wellw find out pre-game.

Do I honestly start Edelman over Michael Thomas, Aj green, juju, or over flex James white? Or is Edelman on a pitch count?

In 2013 thru 2015, Edelman's catch rate averaged 69.2%.
In the 2013 & 2014 playoffs, his catch rate averaged 68.9%.

In the 2015 post-season, his catch rate was 58.6%.
In the 2016 regular season, his catch rate was 61.6%.
In the 2016 post-season (at age 30), he averaged 58.3%, which was dragged down by a 38.5% catch rate in the SB.

In addition to recovering from an ACL, which may slow him down a bit, Edelman's catch rate(at age 32) may not be as fabulous as it once was. Tempering expectations a bit for this season, especially for the next few games, may be a prudent approach.

I posted something like this back in 2016, two years ago, just as his production was quietly falling off. He is 32 and had a bunch of injuries. I will say this, though: I’m quite sure that even with lower efficiencies he will still make the offense much better, provided he isn’t Wes Welker bad (at the end of Welker's career.)

We need some young blood at WR really hope Dorsett can be one moving forward. After the 2o19 Season Edelman becomes a FA also Hogan is a FA after this season. Hogan will turn 30 so a two or three year extension might not be out of the question. I hope Hogan don't price himself out of our reach we have done well with guys like him.
Gordon is only 25. So there's that.
