Good for you my man! You are officially my patsfans designated driver!

My ex loved that I didn't drink. But she was kind and always rewarded me for the designated driving by giving me a reward when we got home. You're not exactly my type but I'll continue that arrangement with you if you want.

I totally understand you, Vector. I just feel like sometimes a positive attitude gets overlooked. That's a huge thing precisely when you're dealing with a disease, be it substance abuse or depression. What you look for, like just about anything else in life, is consistency. And you mention that when you suggested the wait and see method. A positive attitude can never hurt matters.

The problem won’t be during the season if there is one it will be in the off-season.

He was basically glued to Chad O’sheas hip. I would imagine he will be glued to someone for the rest of the season.

I guess my topic got deleted but let’s all say goodbye to @iapatsfan. They won today so he’ll go back to his miserable life with that pasty, overweight, Norwegian pig that he calls a “wife” and the dreary, growth-laden valley of hills, darkness, and inbred hayseeds that is otherwise known as “Iowa.”

Deleted but never forgotten.

Now that I'm alone and have some time I can give a run down of my post game thoughts.

Defense - What can really be talked about here? I'm sure they had a few bad plays they weren't punished for but generally it is hard to find a fault in this group. The DBs were the heroes of today for sure. Even without Rowe. Hightower looked to have a bit more pep in his step. I hope that continues. Van Noy is as good as everyone else around him allows him to be pretty much. For instance take the miss tackle he had that would have been for a loss. If no one is around to make the play after he slows the guy down we would be pissed that he missed the tackle. A defender comes in to take advantage and the play is a tackle for a loss and everyone gives him an attaboy for delaying the player. The only thing i didn't like was the pass rush. They just didn't get there fast enough. I had high hopes for the unit but it isn't living up to them yet.

STs - This unit was below average today. Short kicks offs and punt. There weren't any big returns but when you shank a punt or kick those aren't likely to happen. On the longer punts the unit did okay. They were clearly afraid of Grant and played that way. The lack of confidence in this unit is something you don't see often.

Offense - Honestly even with 38 points I wasn't overly impressed here. There were some nice runs from Sony but the WRs had a hard time getting open. The first 17 points were scored due to...

a drive kept alive by a ticky tack penalty that was stuffed from 2nd and goal at the 1 - 3
A defensive break down that allowed a 50 yard TD - 10
A muffed snap - 17

The first good drive of the game that they truly earned was with about 5 minutes left in the half. At that point you start the 2nd half up 24-0 and you need to wonder how much those additional good offensive drives mean at that point when the dolphins have already given up on winning. There were some very nice playcalls used in this game and i liked the coaching. A lot of stuff needs to be cleaned up. BB is going to have a field day on the one play that had 3 offensive penalties.

For individual players...

Gorden - A nice debut with limited snaps.
Michel - He showed some good ability today but he isn't a guy who can run into a pile and move it. The inconsistency will be annoying to deal with
White - Player of the game on offense IMO.
Hogan - He has fallen behind Dorsett and White and is now the 5th or maybe even 6th option on this team. If Gronk/Edelman/Gordon can all get on the field.

J. Jones - another sneaky good game.
Gilmore - solid again
Jason McCourty - Had his best game as a Patriot. The catch he allowed late was a great offensive player.
Guy - Was great in the run game.

Cyrus Jones - Did you see that double hop he fielded cleanly? It really looks like he put the fumbles behind him.

Wasn’t aware of the chest injury as well.

Sounds good! Assuming that the "reward" is the Uber fee minus 10%.

I was driving so I did not have the chance to watch the games, but seeing Brady had two INTs kinda worries me. Were they bad picks?
They were bad, although some context:

McCain arguably made a nice play on the first one.

On each pick, there was an unblocked defender coming directly at Brady to blast him.

I hope J. Jones' performance does not get overlooked. He played very well, as did the defense collectively.

Wouldn't be surprised if he displaces Rowe by the middle of the season.
