Setting the edge is one of the few things where you can just come in and contribute pretty fast. There is not too much of a learning curve compared with other positions. So yeah would expect him to get a fair amount of snaps.

Trey Flowers and Patrick Chung are active. Getting off the field is key.

I like the four-man receiving group of Gordon, Hogan, Dorsett and Patterson. Michel cannot afford any more drops. Stay healthy, men. The cavalry is coming on Monday.

Cannon is back this week as well.

The biggest disappointment on the inactive list is Hollister.

Like I said before.. the Rivers situation is the most intriguing personnel situation for me so far. Really curious whats going on because he never looked like a bust in camp or in pre-season.

That being said I wonder why the staff is limiting Derek Rivers. He never looked truly bad whenever he got some snaps. Curious..

At this stage I think those decisions say a lot. The de position has underperformed and it looks like the coaching staff is saying Claiborne isn’t the problem, Davis is.
Looks like Simon will have a role today too.
VERY interested in seeing what today’s iteration of scheme experimentation is.
