Playcall was fine, the blocking just wasn't there. Gronk and Mason both blocked the same linebacker and Cannon fell down trying to get to the second level. Michel did well to get a couple yards with the stiff arm.

You would he hesitant if every time the ball was in your hands you had two 250 lb guys on top of you. The line isn't giving him any lanes. When they have, he has run decisively.

Michel looked better on that drive, even the 2 yard run was impressive to me, alot of backs lose 2 on that kind of run blocking. Whenever he did get a lane he gained 12

Michel is fast enough, he just looks hesitant. I can be patient with him but the defense is making it impossible for us to ease him in. We’re going to have to lean on White and Burk

So I get you gotta run to "keep a defense honest". And you gotta have a good middle of the field game, by way of Edleman to maybe abandon that philosophy and make it a pure passing attack.

But PLEASE, don't have runs that develop behind the line. Our Oline cannot run block for ****. Keep it runs that are low risk.
