Yeah I don't think the secondary is that bad. Gilmore's one of the best corners in the league, Jones looks like a player, and McCourty and Chung are two of the best at what they do. But you can only do so much.

He read the play well and would have gotten to Riddick if he hadn't bit, that's more than you can say about literally anyone else on the defense

2018 Pats - read the play properly but give up a 1st down or big chunk and you're doing well.

Had my doubts before, but if BB makes a playoff run with this squad he may not be from this world. As talentless as any team in the league.

I'd imagine it would be Brady making a playoff run in spite of the defense and Belichick.
