Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Week 3 Pats @ Lions

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Not wrong

Honestly this game has been horribly unwatchable between the TOP and the incessant ****ing commercials

I say this and get told. “He’s the best. Look at the Super Bowls”.

Gets old. I am forever grateful for the last 18 years. But, this is a new year.

Yep, every year is a new year, and so far BB has not lived up to the expectations, even as a coach we expect better, we have not made any adjustments since last week!

Forget the post I'm tearing up the carpet...

This board is as bad as the team today. Calling for BB firing and what not. They are playing like **** . But its week 3. It doesnt mean they are going to be like this for 13 more games.
No I’m not calling for that

Let’s be honest with ourselves here.

Can you name ONE positive thing we’ve done tonight?

Nothing. We have been bad in absolutely all phases. That is something to be reasonably concerned about.

KO return

I’m not convinced the secondary is worthless but they have to play behind the absolute worst front 7 in the league

Yeah I don't think the secondary is that bad. Gilmore's one of the best corners in the league, Jones looks like a player, and McCourty and Chung are two of the best at what they do. But you can only do so much.

He read the play well and would have gotten to Riddick if he hadn't bit, that's more than you can say about literally anyone else on the defense

2018 Pats - read the play properly but give up a 1st down or big chunk and you're doing well.

Gronk ran backwards to stop them from getting a first down lmao

BB still thinks his way is better than everyone else in the league. Things have changed. Slow LB is not working with these super fast TEs and running backs. He literally gave away all our good players for nothing.
Except they have made the last 2 superbowls and the remain AFCCG games. I mean come on. They are not a good team right now . Lets not suddenly talk about "right now" like pats havent made the playoffs in 5 yrs.

White lost a yard.
