Nothing here is personal. If I think you make great points, I'll often let it be known. And if I think you make lousy points, I'll often let it be known. That's how these places are supposed to work. As to the specifics:

The players don't give a rat's ass if some nameless, faceless clowns on a message board "digested this over the past few hours and my opinion is this: I will support Gordon and put his past behind him." No offense, but after all, who the hell are you to be putting Gordon's past behind him?
Now I get it. You'

No offense, but after all, who the hell are you to be putting Gordon's past behind him? Beyond how it affects his play on the field, a player's past is not really any of our business, and talking about it as anything beyond that is really nothing more than a modern form of (mostly) male gossip.

I was raised to be respectful to others, but was also taught that respect is earned. From reading this post, I have gathered you don't think before you type and are the type of person who will argue for the sake of arguing and need to come out right even if you are completely in the wrong.

How the **** did you read my post and jump to all of this? Are you like arguing for the sake of it? No **** Gordon doesn't care about my opinion on this subject. Despite this, I never claimed he did. I am simply rooting him on and putting his past behind him for my perception of him. This has ZERO relation to what Gordon, you guys or anyone for that matter. You need to calm the **** down and grow up. You're acting like a keyboard warrior.

BTW, after the Gordon trade was announced as a done deal, BB still refused to say a deal had been made.Don't know what it means but..
It might mean the deal was forced upon him by someone and he didn't want to take blame/credit/responsibility.

I don't get why you're so sarcastic to me. Granted, it could be a thing you do to everyone, but I dont remember doing anything if you have an issue with me. Im not whining, just apologize if I said something months ago or last year and forgot.

If you do it to everyone then its fine.

So, just to make things clear:

You posted a post saying that you don't get why I'm so sarcastic to you. Rather than just dismiss your post as I apparently should have, I took the time to answer it. In my response, I explained my position to you, made no kind of attack towards you, and simply noted the gossipy nature of nosily discussing the personal lives of strangers beyond the impact of such upon the workplace.

Your response to that was to click the "dislike" icon on my post, and then to add this bit of ridiculousness:

Now I get it. You'

So, if you don't like my future responses and you think I'm being a big meanie, just remember that you stooped to the level of pettiness that you did.

Your response reflects something I have seen numerous times throughout my experience on message boards.

Grow up.

I made a mild comment that took a tiny, and (hopefully) humorous dig as something you posted, and some did, indeed, find it amusing. You've been crying ever since.

Your responses demonstrate both a childlike approach to social interaction and an incredible level of narcissism. Take your own advice.

I just assumed he didn't want to talk about it per his normal MO and used "it's not official yet" as an excuse to avoid the subject.

Trade probably wasn't officially done and sent to the league, so Belichick wasn't going to comment.

No, I think Alex Guerrero is up to some shenanigans in the front office.

Okay, sweetie. You are obviously arguing for the sake of arguing and nothing I say will reach you at this point so I'm done. You need to learn to chillout and also proper social interaction.

Have fun and enjoy your day.

Umm..... I hadn't been arguing. I made one very mild quip. You got your panties in a twist over it. This was nothing more than that. So, yeah, let's leave it there.

@Tunescribe I might have missed it, but whats your opinion on Josh Gordon being signed? I think I remember you being against it.
I was opposed to the idea but now that a deal's been done I'm hoping for the best. The guy has played only 11 games in the last four years. The Patriots get Cleveland's seventh-round pick in the next draft if he doesn't play 10 games this season. If I were to bet on it, I'd say New England just traded its fifth rounder for Cleveland's seventh. I hope I'm wrong and Gordon gets religion with Patriots kool-aid as a sacrament.

OK...whew..this thread is busy...now first...I'm terribly sorry to burst Patjew's Bubble Of Beauty but..."sign the beast!" was first observed being used by the wild rhesus like denizens of the old Miami Herald Dolphins Board, back in the late 90's. It quickly became adopted by the Jet fans who frequented that board, and became in essence, the epitome of the Jet frontrunner. I truly believe that Patjew picked up on the phrase after reading a number of screeds mocking these same Jet fans and an increasing number of new Pats fans here, who only needed a 40 time and keyboard to declare every new player a team signs as a "beast!". Now granted I'm talking decades ago almost so I won't dispute that Patjew is the originator of its' regular use here. However "sign the beast" has been around so long it's got a long beard and cataracts.

Secondly, StockingAnarchy#12 is going off GANGNAM style...I am truly shocked.

I might be cluless on this so bear with me, but couldn't the Patriots purposely use him for 9 games only then get a 7th back?

They could...but I'm gonna say if he makes it 9 games then there's a really good chance they're going to want to play him in a tenth game, likely when they're fighting for playoff seeding.

Technically they can use him 9 games. Get the 7th round pic. Then let him walk next year and get a comp pick also

Good question, I don't have the answer. I think the idea is that he needs to "behave" well enough to remain on the roster for that length of time, but I haven't seen an explanation for why 10 games was designated.
