The Josh Gordon Thread: Pats Officially Acquire Gordon for Fifth-Round Pick

Quit these disingenuous posts. Nobody in here is comparing careers, accomplishments, legacy, or games played. It's pretty obvious that people are referencing elite talent and off the field issues - NOTHING ELSE.
Comparing their off the field issue is exactly what's ludicrous.

I can't believe he responded to your post, with that! Lol! It's what everyone that's anti Gordon is saying! The off field issues. That's why no one should compare him to Moss.

He'd probably vomit. Brady likes smart, disciplined guys he can count on.

Randy Moss was a malcontent till he got to New England. His career’s pretty much on thin ice already. It’s worth a gamble in my estimation. The guy has been set up to fail with the Browns. It’s cleveland! Smoke bud 24/7.

In terms of a rock-bottom situation, one could say it has similarities to Chris Carter's drug problems that finally led to his release from Philly by Buddy Ryan. If drug testing rules from today were in place back then, Carter would have had tons of suspensions too. He turned it around on his last chance, as a Viking. Almost all people with that problem do not.

Gordon has had only one elite year, so I know the comparison is a stretch in terms of duration of accomplishments. It is just that Carter is one of the few that drugged himself out of the NFL and then bounced back.

How? Moss was pretty much bored in Oakland. He wanted out. I think a fresh start wouldn’t hurt Gordon. Cleveland’s a dump. Going back home to the cowboys would be great if only his QB wasn’t dak Prescott. I think the Texans would make more sense.

It's not just Cleveland. Why do you think the guy declared for the supplemental draft when he came out? (Ineligible) He's a junkie. Period. Nothing will ever mean more to him than the green.

Was Moss ever caught up in drugs?

Gordon already has had a 1 year suspension.

The Patriots have gambled on the likes of Dillon, Moss, Hernandez, Haynesworth, Johnson, et al., but a weed smoker is apparently a bridge too far for some people.

God forbid he smacked the weed into a woman’s face.

The guy’s addicted to weed not cocaine. Like i said his career’s on thin ice already. Frankly it wouldn’t shock me if he forced himself out of Cleveland. That place is a dump.

This HAS to be trolling. I know you're not comparing a guy that got hit once, with Mr. 3x facing a life ban.
